Dude is an athletic freak. Him and Kyrie would go great together. Lobs. Did I mention lobs? Keep Andy to play while Noel is out and then dump him if need be during the all-star break.

Pick6;1446557 wrote:sigh..I see you totally ignored my post in the other thread about Noel's playing weight being very similar to other current NBA all-star caliber centers when they came into the league. Also, Howard weighs 265, not 280. Im surprised you can remember clear back to the first half of Noah's freshman season at Florida, since we are comparing that point in their college careers. He averaged 3.9 pts/game his freshman year, by the way. Also only weighs 232 at 28 yrs old, and I'd say he's doing just fine. You sound ridiculous acting like a 19yr old with not even a half of a year in a good weight program wont transform his body like every other NBA rookie.
Didn't ignore your post little guy, so calm down. Glad to see you think so highly of yourself though.

I know Howard weighs 260/265. Noel's current weight is ~200 lbs. Howard weights 260+, there's the 60 lbs. Nice math fail. As for Noah, talking about during the draft process, when Noah came out he was much more refined offensively than Noel is. I can see you're really trying hard to grasp at straws and argue for any little thing you see. Pretty petty/pathetic. Didn't know trying to prove me wrong meant so much to you.

Thinking some more about Noel, the guy's PEAK weight while at Kentucky was 220, which is lighter than any top Center prospect and about 60 pounds lighter than top C's in the game right now (Marc Gasol, Howard).
Lol. I'm the one grasping for straws.

A simple, "I'm wrong" would have sufficed.

I'm trying to talk Cavs draft and you're trying to start a pissing match based on a misplaced comma and you not using common sense when reading my post. Get over yourself buddy.

Anyways back on topic before epick6 starts his standard thread shitting.

Noel setting screens for Kyrie and Waiters could be nice.

I didnt say anything about a misplaced comma and I just quoted exactly what you said, since you were contradicting yourself, but okay.

SMH, just give it a rest and STFU. Let's talk Cavs basketball. Thanks.

    Thankfully back on topic.

Agreed, don't want that QQing little bitch.

Dallas is looking to ship their lottery pick. Easily could give them 2 second rounders for it. They dont want the pick because its guaranteed cap hit.

Sign me up for that! Didn't we trade with them last yr for Zeller?

    lol.

Anyways, talking basketball, if you arent going to trade the pick, take Noel. Dont over think it. Then look at a 3 who can guard and shoot the ball at #19 (preferably Bullock)

Noel is like serge ibaka without a jump shot. I wouldn't take serge #1 overall even with his jump shot.

I think he's more athletic than Ibaka. He is more raw but is more of a pure athlete than even Greg Oden was (I think anyways). Could be the type of dominant defensive big man that has been a characteristic of many championship teams save the 90's Bulls and the Heat.

And I don't know...if you take Noel and he's not quite ready and is hurt for a lot of year...we might just suck enough one more year and have a type of San Antonio Spurs situation where they have Tim Duncan land in their hands when David Robinson is injured with Wiggins and Parker. Obviously Gilbert doesn't appear to be looking for that next year though.

    Chad Ford on Victor Oladipo.

I'm telling everyone that will listen -- Oladipo is the guy that GMs love in this draft. May be the only one. I've talked to 14 or 15 who tell me he's their favorite player. Almost zero downside and still significant upside. Not sure he's a fit in Cleveland or Washington -- but Orlando and Phoenix both look like strong fits. Burke may be a bigger need, but Oladipo might be the better player long-term.

Says he is not a good fit for Cavs, but a lot of teams like him a ton. Might be a good trade possibility, but I doubt anyone will take him #1. But its worth asking...

I think everyone thinks he is a good player. I just feel like hes already close to his peak. Doesnt have a high ceiling. Thats just my opinion of course.

I tend to agree. But I think he can become a better ball-handler and develop a better jump shot. But I dont think he will be a 20ppg scorer. Everything else is there though. Rebounding, defending, passing, energy etc.

I like him. Just wouldn't take him top 5. But I think someone will. If he goes to an athletic and defensive team he'd be a good fit.

They are going to want to dump Shawn Marion with it. Bad contract off their hands + cap hit from the draft pick = more wiggle room for them (in their mind) to land CP3 and/or Howard.

    19, 31 and 33 for Marion and 13? (I don't think Marion/13 for 31 and 33 would work financially).

I think that's a terrible trade for the cavs, even without considering the bad contract they'd be taking on.

The mavs wont want 19. They dont want a 1st rounder because its a guaranteed cap hit.

While it's true(I even said that don't want a 1st), its less than what 13 would cost and I could be wrong but a player making 9 Million next year and a lottery pick would be worth more than 2 2nd's(according to NBA rules, not what the teams would think). This way they definitely get Marion off their hands.

You cant trade 2 2's for marions contract. Not within the 10% rule, I think. Dont think.it changes with Draft trades
