Cleveland Cavaliers Offseason Thread 2013

Melo lead teams win in the regular season and get bounced first round of playoffs. Knicks will be the 4th or 5th seed.

The added Bargani, subtraction by addition. Traded Novak, gave JR a big deal, Amare can't stay healthy and LOL at his contract, MWP is pretty much a bum now, and no one of that team outside of Chandler plays def. Yeah I don't envision good things in NY this season. Could be wrong.

Bargnani can score and shoot the ball, Amare wasn't even a factor on the team next year so he is irrelevant to this equation. Metta can still knock down the three and defend multiple positions at a high level. Chandler is the only guy who plays defense? Have you ever watched Iman Shumpert play? Like I said they won 54 games last year and only lost Steve Novak and upgraded. Not sure how you can say they are a bad team, but it just fits your argument that the East is horrible, which couldn't be further from the truth.

It will be fun to see who's right rob. I would caution hailing Bargani, take a look at his stats, his FG% is Horrible and his TS% is even worse.

I agree he is inconsistent but he also played on a bad team, shouldn't be asked to do as much, just hit open shots. He doesn't really do anything else well, rebounding or defense, but if he can give them 15 a game then it should work out.

If he wasn't the #1 pick, you'd think he is a bum, which he is.

What do you mean by work out? That they'll have a 5th body on the floor as opposed to playing 4 on 5?

Bargnani absolutely has an opportunity to revive his career, and you wouldn't be wrong for thinking he could.

But his current evaluation is along with what COA said.

Work out as fit in and help the team. He's not better than what they had last year though? Definitely a talent upgrade.

Hard to say. Copeland played extremely well in the stretch-big role.

BTW, Adios off-season thread, you were a good run.
