This. You get 5 teams, you pick the 5, but you can't change them. Also ALL national tv games, including NBATV games are blacked out and whoever your local team is(no matter home or away).Laley23;1471085 wrote:I didnt get it this year, because I didnt have the money.
But from what I understand, you can get an online NBA package through PS3/laptop/ipad/whatever. You get to pick 5 teams to watch, so you get their games, but that is it. Its a discounted price which is whats awesome. Only 5 teams and only online is the downside.
I have had the full package for online the last 2 years and love it. I might only do the 5 team this year just because of money. -

Bennet presents more match up opportunites for us. Bennet at the 4, TT at th3 5 if we're playing small ball. Bennet at the 3, TT at the 4 and Bynum/AV at the 5. Can go big with Bynum and AV etc...
Gives me a semi chub thinking about our front line at it's potential. I mean Zeller last year was starting a lot of games. Now we have arguably the top FA Bynum, the #1 overall pick, and a hopefully improved and healthy TT in the front court; and Zeller is looking at 3rd string haha although I think he'll get a lot of time.
Love the possiblity of Bennett playing the 3...Kyrie, Waiters, Bennett, TT, Bynum.
That is money -

Nice to have you back. This is going to be an exciting Cavs season..I already can't wait.
I'm honestly most excited about Bennett. I think he's going to be a beast. -

Agreed I really like Bennett -
Dan GilbertI was extremely busy with my previous job and I moved states for a year so I didn't even bother getting internet. Then I forgot my password.
But this is probably the most excited I've been for the Cavs since the LeBron era. I am guessing that Grant felt pretty good about landing Bynum even before the draft. I'd rather risk 6 million on Bynum than signing Noel with #1 money for multiple years.
Hopefully we can land an experienced SF/SG for leadership and bench depth with the 2.6 mil. Jack will be a great asset to not only production but being around Kyrie and Dion.
People may undervalue signings like Clark but our bench depth hasn't had talent like his in awhile. Clark > Jamario Moon as an example. -

We have one of the most versatile rosters in the entire league. Just a few odd lineups we can use to exploit the opponent (not that we would, just that we could)Commander of Awesome;1471118 wrote:Bynum signing makes me like the Bennet pick even more. 3 guards 2 bigs (KI, DW, JJ, AV, AB)
Go really big (KI, SK, AB or EC, TT, AB or AV)
Go small (KI, DW, EC, AB, TT)
So many possibilities. I love it -

Dan GilbertIF this team stays remotely healthy, they will be pushing for the 5th seed with Brooklyn (depending on how they gel as a team).
Miami/Indiana/NYK/Chicago will be the top 4 but the Cavaliers have definitely upgraded out of the lottery and into the playoffs where anything can happen. -
Commander of AwesomeI'm not a big believer in the Knicks. Don't think they're a top 4 team in the East. Put them in the West and I'd probably pick against them to make the playoffs.
-
Dan GilbertJoe Kotoch: Andrei Kirilenko drawing interest from the Kings, Spurs, Nets, and Cavs. AK47 free agency has been surprisingly quiet. Twitter @Probballdraft
-
Dan GilbertObviously AK47 turned down 10 million from Minnesota.
Cleveland can only offer the 2.6 million. The Nets and Spurs can't have much in the tank left after their deals and I highly doubt at this stage in his career he would consider the Kings.
AK47 has a close relationship to Sergey which could play into Cleveland's favor along with now being a playoff contender. -

Knicks are the hardest for me to peg. Carmelo improved his all-around game last year and getting Jason Kidd off the court will be addition by subtraction (IMO you can't win in the playoffs if you have someone on the court who is absolutely no threat to score unless his name is Rajon Rondo).Commander of Awesome;1471194 wrote:I'm not a big believer in the Knicks. Now you throw Bargnani in there, a ? regarding Amare's ability to play more than 20-25 minutes, and who knows what's going to happen.
If the Cavs make the playoffs and match up against the Knicks, I would feel pretty optimistic about our chances, unlike some other teams in the East. -

i don't believe in the Knicks come playoff time but think they'll do well in the regular season again. 4th seed is my guess. Would be amazing if the Cavs could get the 5th and take them out in the first round.Commander of Awesome;1471194 wrote:I'm not a big believer in the Knicks. Commander of AwesomeI'll make a sig or avatar bet that the knicks will not be a top 5 team in the east.

I don't trust their key players at all....I'll consider for the fact that I don't want them to be a top 4. -
Dan GilbertAK47 took a little bit more money, 3.1 mil 1st year with a 2nd year player option, to play for the Nets.

He took a whole lot less money than he was already making....something tells me that russian billionaire handed some money under the table to AK47Dan Gilbert;1471439 wrote:AK47 took a little bit more money, 3.1 mil 1st year with a 2nd year player option, to play for the Nets. -

Should of stated a little more money from what Cleveland could have offered.bases_loaded;1471447 wrote:He took a whole lot less money than he was already making....something tells me that russian billionaire handed some money under the table to AK47
