As for your question, depends on factors Ironman. Can Kyrie stay healthy? Why type of improvement jump does Waiters/TT make? Etc...
Obviously....was referring to like_that's thought they could be a playoff team without Bynum...seeing how valuable Bynum is thought to be.
Anyways I agree 6-9 seed without Bynum but otherwise healthy.
Miami, Chicago, Indy (I gotta believe either NY or Brooklyn will be a top 4 and guessing the other 5 but one could definitely fall apart as they seem to be of those molds)
It would be quite the improvement to go from 24 wins (health killed them) to a #6 seed or better. -

I completely disagree with that article you read. Clippers will be improved, Warriors possibly (they were only slightly above league average last year in both offensive and defensive rating; exploded in playoffs so it's hard to tell how good they really are), obviously Rockets are better.friendfromlowry;1470328 wrote:I was reading last night that the Thunder might be the 4th or 5th best team in the West now. Clippers, Warriors, and Houston made some big improvements, the Spurs kept their two key free agents, and the Thunder didn't do a whole lot, while losing Kevin Martin.
But to drop the Thunder behind them? The Thunder were ranked 1st and 4th respectively in ORtg and Drtg, for them to drop off that much only losing Kevin Martin and replacing his minutes with Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson? I say hogwash. -
Commander of AwesomeI believe Thunder lead the league in scoring differential as well. The Harden trade is one of the worst ever anyone you look at it, but they're still an elite team.

Commander of AwesomeSam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO 9m Hearing that Cavs think Andrew Bynum wants to play in Dallas. But nothing official from any parties involved.

Mavs can't come close to Cavs' offer for Bynum. But hearing, with the way contract is structured, $24 million not as grand as it appears. -
Midstate01Cavs will lose out once again..

Amico is a Moron and never knows anything. He makes shit up -
Crimson streakWithers just tweeted that bynum's agent wants to meet back with the cavs.

Signing him is a huge risk. I wouldn't say we lose out if he goes elsewhere.Midstate01;1470503 wrote:Cavs will lose out once again.. -
Commander of AwesomeOnly way the Cavs lose on this is if Bynum plays for the Mavs and pwns.

mucalum49If Bynum doesn't want to work to make the most possible cash in an incentive based $12M contract then he can go to Dallas. As Windy said today Bynum is very knowledgable about his knee situation so it's telling IMO if he doesn't want an incentive laden contract.
Especially one that could be worth the most next season that would allow him to sign a max deal in 2014. -

Moreso just another FA who doesn't sign with cavs is my point. -

I don't think Milwaukee and Atlanta are the only two teams the Cavs have to beat out. Orlando and Charlotte should be terrible again, but I think everyone from 10-13 took a step up. Toronto went .500 after adding Gay last year, Washington was .500 with Wall and added Otto Porter, Detroit got Josh Smith, etc.friendfromlowry;1470330 wrote:Agreed. Top five probably goes 1) Miami 2) Indiana then 3-5) is a toss-up of New York, Brooklyn, and Chicago if Rose ever fucking plays again. Boston is probably out this year. Even without Bynum, the Cavs have to beat out Milwaukee and Atlanta.
The 6-8 spots are wide open. -
Crimson streakChris Broussard tweeted Bynum to cavs

Trueblue23Bynum is signing with Cleveland, per Broussard.

Trueblue23I hope he bitch slaps Mike Brown, then shoots a three

I'd laugh. His eyes and nose would fall off like a mr potato head -
Crimson streakIf the deal is what was reported it is only 6 mill guaranteed. Great deal for the cavs

Pick6Bynum signing with the Cavs!

I was referring to the playoff teams from last year, but you're right. A lot of the bottom-tier teams made some quiet but solid improvements.Mulva;1470597 wrote:I don't think Milwaukee and Atlanta are the only two teams the Cavs have to beat out. $6 million? Wow -
Laley23Cavs are gonna be fun to watch. If I move by then, I might get the NBA package where you pick 5 teams. Cavs would for sure be one of them.

Didn't forget Miles. I think he will be waived in order to fit Bynum under the cap. I know we have room for $6M but I think for the ceiling of the deal. Remember seeing something saying all three teams after him had to make a move to fit him and ours was waiving Miles.
