sportswizuhrdTrade ideas thrown around on realgm.com boards...
Thompson, Gee, Miles and both 1st rounders this year for Aldridge.
I think anything past Thompson and a player and 1st rounder would be too much. -

I agree. Has the whole city of Cleveland gone full retard mode with trade/draft rumors lately?SportsAndLady;1433269 wrote:Fuuuck that
I think that rumor is highly unlikely. No way they trade both first rounders without even knowing where one of their 1st round picks will be. If they won the lottery, no way in hell they trade that away for Aldridge. -
lhslep134I still think the trade is going to be the Laker's 1st, King's future 1st, Andy and maybe someone else.
No chance in hell we're trading TT for a guy who will be an UFA in 2 seasons. -
mucalum49The Cavs are going to eventually run into the problem OKC had with Harden. Who do they sign long term and who's out? TT showed great development between year one and year two but who's to say he progresses into a guy who averages a double double? What if we could get a 20/10 guy for him, Lakers & Kings pick? And say we nab Porter. A team of Irving/Waiters/Porter/Aldridge/AV could be dangerous in the East. Especially if Brown can accelerate the progress of the defense.
I personally don't want Aldridge but I think if we do get Porter and have to choose 3 of our 4 top five picks to keep then I want Irving/Waiters/Porter to build around. The style of play between those three complement each other very well. So to me I want to sell TT high. I'd rather include TT in a package for Kevin Love but that's just me.
Edit: Lastly I don't want Aldridge who's in his late 20's, had hip surgery prior to last season and is 2 years away from free agency. -

If the Cavs have the same "problem" as OKC, then we all will be happy.mucalum49;1433391 wrote:The Cavs are going to eventually run into the problem OKC had with Harden. Heretic
Man, things suck... We're a top seed in our conference who's a top contender to at least make the finals on a yearly basis due to having a great young nucleus...but we have to give up one of those guys due to contracts...FML!!!!like_that;1433410 wrote:If the Cavs have the same "problem" as OKC, then we all will be happy.
Yeah, 80+ percent of the teams in any sports league wished they had problems like that instead of the usual, "Why does everything fucking always go wrong at the worst damn times..." -

Pick6Waiters named to 1st team all rookie team, Zeller 2nd team

Commander of AwesomeAs a cleveland fan, little surprised to see Zeller make the list. Then again, after thinking about it, not sure who else to put on it ahead of him.

Obviously no surprise, but the rookies that played the most minutes got the votes.Commander of Awesome;1443056 wrote:As a cleveland fan, little surprised to see Zeller make the list. Then again, after thinking about it, not sure who else to put on it ahead of him.
9 of the 10 guys on the team were in the top 10 in mpg among rookies (Drummond was the only guy who wasn't). Harkless was the only top 10 mpg guy that didn't make the team, and he finished 11th in the voting.
I probably would have given Drummond or MKG a first team vote over Barnes. -
Pick6Really starting to warm up to this guy, assuming Noel isnt there. Its a weak draft, but I think there is a lot of depth at Center.

List of combine measurements over on RCF. Gobert's wingspan measured in 3 inches longer than Yao Ming.Pick6;1444442 wrote:Really starting to warm up to this guy, assuming Noel isnt there. Its a weak draft, but I think there is a lot of depth at Center.

ohiobucks1Predictions for tonight?
I see us at #2. Just have this feeling. -

I feel like we'll be at #2 also. As long as someone who gets #1 takes Noel. We'll be 2-5 which leaves us with Porter, Len, Oladipo, McLemore. As I posted on the draft thread I'm hoping for Porter and trade our 19 and a second to move up for Steven Adams.ohiobucks1;1446110 wrote:Predictions for tonight?

mucalum49Also check out this Dion Waiters workout video. His jumpshot is really coming along. No longer off balance. Glad to see he's putting the work in.

MulvaWent to Bar Louie downtown. Place went nuts when we took #1.
Do not want Noel at all. They won't take McLemore, but they should. -

GOONx19I'm so scared we're gonna bust. Laley's right, I think Oladipo's the only one that surely won't, but he's already reached his ceiling. Noel is skinny with a bad injury, Porter is skinny and Georgetown is a sure first round upset, Bennett is lazy and Shabazz is selfish. And Alex Len went to Maryland. Whoever we take will blow and the rest will be HOFers.

ohiobucks1I want Noel and to trade for love
