Love NN's dedication and attitude, but that knee looks fucking scary. I have a knee issue myself and have been putting it off because it's tolerable. However, looking at that makes me really worry about surgery. Nasty.

Anytime that game is on and that play comes up, my wife leaves the room.

That is the actual at though. Noel's looks nasty POST surgery.

Aren't Adrian Peterson and RG3 proving ACL surgeries aren't such a big deal anymore?

That's like saying Magic Johnson is proving AIDS isn't such a big deal anymore

NN is the new Greg Oden. Only difference is, there isnt a Kevin Durant behind him. Doesn't mean B-Mac or Porter won't be really good NBA players though. Take one of them, don't even fuck w/ Nerlens, just too risky.
  • bases_loaded
Greg Oden had micro fracture surgery. Something few come back from.

Your magic Johnson reference applies better to your oden comparison.
  • SportsAndLady
I just meant from the injury standpoint not the specific injury he battled.

NN is a great talent but he has a very raw offensive game and is injury prone. Why on earth would you take a guy like that #1 overall?
  • bases_loaded
He's the best player in the draft and addresses your need to get better on defense.

Does anyone watching the Heat think Lebron will have any reason to sign there in two years? They are barely beating the Pacers without their best player.

    Irving, waiters, Lebron, Tt, Noel

I think its likely LBJ will leave, not so sure if it'd be to Cleveland. But if it was we'd probably lose either TT/Dion eventually due to free agency and not being able to sign all of them. But the best part is with Wade aging and if LBJ came back to Cleveland we own the Heats draft picks during their rebuild. So as much as I like those two guys we'd be able to get some decent players on rookie contracts.

Good problem to have I suppose.

I'm assuming he wouldn't out right leave Miami, would probably be a sign and trade like it was when he left Cleveland

    He's better than Danny Grainger?

Completely different situations. No way do they cava sign and trade with Miami after the bad blood between them. Gilbert and grant will basically tell the heat to go fuck themselves

    Yes

Serious? Yes. it isnt even close.

    Hibbert is better as well.

I seriously doubt that. What bad blood do they have with the heat? Its all with lebron James. If they can get a sign and trade done days after decision, they can get one done 4-5 years later. Unless lebron willingly accepts less to come back home that is

Asinine to think the Cavs wont do a sign and trade with Miami to get the best player in a generation back to Cleveland.

I'm saying if he's going to sign with Cleveland a sign and trade isn't necessary. I highly doubt lebron wouldn't sign with Cleveland bc of a difference of what 5-10 mill.

Irving, Waiters, and......Zeller (wtf) invited to Team USA minicamp. Any idea how many guys get invited to this?

i could be wrong but isn't there a new provision in the cba about restricting sign and trades to some degree? or did they not up end up doing that?

@SamAmicoFSO: Cavs front office seriously dissecting possibility of drafting Ben McLemore with No. 1 pick, source says.
