Disgusted with Trump administration - Part I

This is no longer a battle between left and right; this is a battle against the rise of Fascism. Which side do you want to be remembered? Those that fought against Hitler or those that stood by with their hand firmly on the gas chamber? I know where I stand, do you?
Literally the exact opposite of what you posted literally 4-7 days after the election [emoji23].

    Don't worry, there is proof.

We elected a fascist to the most powerful position on the planet.

When they come after your liberties, it will probably be too late to say 'I told you so'.

    Get in the game!

This is too easy. She was an Obama carryover who orchestrated this on purpose to act as a martyr. She also clearly stated that she didn't find anything unconstitutional or unlawful about the EO, she just didn't like it. Fail.

The good news is, she will have a lot more time to spend at Starbucks.

sleeper;1834968 wrote:Reasonable. We vote with our dollars.

I bought more Starbucks today as a result. I prefer to spend my dollars on companies that support human rights for all.

Wait until Elizabeth Warren, noted Marxist and leader of what was once known as the democrat party, finds out that Howard Schultz made well over a half billion dollars in the last 9 years. I can see her glaring over the top of her spectacles asking how much is enough. Oh wait, he's a liberal ..........never mind.

You do realize that Starbucks made the same pledge regarding veterans and active duty spouses years ago, right? They have followed through. They also offer paid time off for service obligations and free college education for spouses and children.

There's also the part where these 10,000 refugees will be hired in 75 countries, and priority will be given to those who served as interpreters or in other roles helping the US military.

    How terrible of them.

Days until Presidents reached >50% disapproval:
    Reagan 727
    Bush 1136
    Clinton 573
    Dubya 1205
    Obama 936
    Trump 8
There is hope for the Republic!

He pays his fair share. Does Trump?

Truly terrible. An ethically run business that makes a profit is the Republican's nightmare.

And while we are quibbling over these, and many other issues, Steven Bannon is now in charge of the US Military, US Strategic command and the extra-judicial kill list that can include US citizens. A noted white supremacist can now kill US citizens at will.

This is how fascism starts; shut down all dissent, control the media, and seize power. Hitler would be proud.

LMAO. You're right, we don't live on the same planet, enjoy that California bubble.

The popular vote margin came from the exact liberal bubble population I'm talking about.

Also lol at crying about executive orders. I remember the last 8 years when liberals told us Obama needs more executive orders to work around congress! Congrats on advocating for that and then giving the wrong man that exact power.
lol ok, so liberals are the wimpy flowers here but it's the conservatives who are upset (QQ) about the liberals trying to defend the constitution? lolk

And the left humping states rights and nullification. Strange times.

I am happy for liberals that they actually care about the constitution now. I'm 100% with them there when it comes to abiding by the constitution and protecting the constitution. Unfortunately, I doubt we will be back on the same page once a dem is back in the White House or if an event happens that doesn't fit their agenda (I.e. Guns). The same people crying right now are the same people who didn't give a fuck when Obama was droning Syria or gave a fuck that Obama reversed a 50 year policy that made it easy for Cuban refugees to come to the states. Once again, when you can't call a spade a spade, nobody will take you seriously.

See, it's really not that hard to stick with your beliefs. I recommend giving it a try regardless of who is in office.

They also banned women from their stores in Saudi Arabia. So, you know, they pander to the locals.

So equating Trumps actions by pinpointing one Obama thing that you don't agree with makes it even huh? Nice Logical Fallacy, I'll go with strawman here http://www.theskepticsguide.org/resources/logical-fallacies

Since you love to throw Obama Cuban refugee up there as a "SEE!!!" you then think Trumps long list of injustices is ok? Can you even admit that what trump is doing is beyond fucked?

You must have mistaken me for a Trump supporter.

Anyway, that's just one example of hypocrisy little guy, and if you took the time to wipe your tears you would have seen me criticizing the EO. The following isn't mutually exclusive:

-it was a piss poor EO, and handled incompetently.

-liberals are being over dramatic cry babies about it.

The article from the Atlantic is a classic example. "Soft core holocaust denial." Give me a fucking break. It was incompetence and an egotistical administration can't admit they fucked up. That article by the Atlantic (far left leaning) is a classic liberal op-ed that is meant to be shared with people who are like minded so they all can feel better about themselves. That's the type of shit that turns people off. I 100% agree they handled it like idiots, but to compare it to the holocaust is dramatic at best. As I said earlier, keep doubling down on this approach, because it is what won Trump the election and it won't surprise me if it wins him another term. All he has to do is implement FDR's protectionist approach and bully businesses to keeping or bringing jobs to the states that won him the election. The Democratic Party currently has been relegated to the party of cities and a good portion of those votes came from Cali/Il/Ny. The numbers don't lie, and it's not a good sign.

You should look at all the clean air and water you currently have and realize your President wants to get rid of regulations that protect them.

How long until we change the 'Republican Party' to the "National Socialist Party"?

    I'll give it 3 months.
