You sandbaggin son of a gun!
In truth, if everyone makes weight we will have a full line up, but we are really really young. If everyone stays out for the sport in two years we will be tough to beat. -

Our line up is 3 seniors, 1 junior, 5 Sophomores, and 5 Freshmen. Bunch of yuts!Fatmanroll>Peterson;1698574 wrote:You sandbaggin son of a gun!

Wow, when I came to Columbus, coach Ball had MF rolling (like 19 out of 23 city championships??). With their success in football, it's hard to fathom what's happening with wrestling!!Tjones85;1698619 wrote:Whetstone 72 Marion Franklin 6 -

We have 3 seniors (maybe 2 by city), 1 junior, 4 sophomores & 3 freshman. 3 decent 8th graders coming in next year as well, so hopefully the future looks bright! : thumbup: -

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember the Briggs kid winning by pin?It is what it is;1698725 wrote:How'd the 285 match go? -

Correct. Our heavy has made some great improvements though. He got pinned by Tyler in about 30 seconds the first time. This time kept it competitive until around the end of the 2nd period. It helps that these two are basically drilling partners now. I think Tyler takes 1st at city, but hopefully Eryn can pick up some steam and score high for us. What is the story on Lambert from Centennial? Is he wrestling? I know when we dualed them I think he had yet to have made weight. Eastmoor heavyweight is tough. I think 285 goes likes this:Dad4Sports;1698732 wrote:I might be wrong, but I seem to remember the Briggs kid winning by pin?
1. Briggs
2. West, Eastmoor, Northland, Centennial? or Sleeper -
It is what it isLambert made weight (was 305 after football) and wrestled once, but not sure if he's still wrestling or not. Leach wrestled at 285 for them, but he's young and inexperienced.
Agree that Poeschel should win at 285 and there are 4-5 others that can battle for 2nd on down. -

It is what it isUpdates on wrestlers: Waits, Lambert & Fall are all good to go for Centennial.
Edwards not wrestling for Walnut Ridge
Perry & Burton not wrestling for Whetstone
Still haven't verified Wellborn & King from Marion-Franklin, Fair & Roundtree from Independence.
Anyone know their situations or who else lost/added wrestlers to their lineups?? -
mcgloriEastmoor Northland and Centennial had a tri on wednesday. Ray from ea beat both Harris (n) and Lambert (c). If the match had gone 6:30 lambert probably would have beat ray. Waits is a beast.
On a side note, Linden's heavyweight beat Ray (ea). Some Linden kids have been left out of the conversation. They have a very nice 160 and there heavyweight has beat some guys.
