Her wiki page is wild.

Indeed. Funny that the University of Cincinnati had no problem taking her money (from her family) and naming the baseball stadium after her in 2006 when all of her racist shit was well known.

I'm sure UC will be returning all the money now since they are removing her name from the stadium and library.

I don't know anything about the Bubba Wallace situation, outside of a "noose was found."

I do know, growing up on a farm it was common that the garage door rope was tied in a loop at the end. It's much easier to grab the loop and pull instead of just a dangling rope. Sometimes the rope had knots on them to help pull it down (depending on how high the garage door was and how much you had to pull).

If it truly was only the rope, I never would have thought it was a "noose" (unless it was tied exactly like a noose).

Good points.  I am actually pretty surprised a building was named after her.

Brees also got knocked because he didn't get the issue. He kept confusing that kneeling was about the flag and not black lives. Once he realized that, he corrected himself, rightly.

Kaepernick literally was kneeling about the flag and the BS of "hands up don't shoot" and police murdering blacks.  He probably clarified and broadened his position after people with a better understanding of the facts told him pushing false narratives aren't persuasive.  It's kind of the same way the origins of BLM have been re-written to reflect a more accurate and equitable foundation.

Kaep mentioned more than once about "getting paid leave for murder" as being unjust.  Apparently in Kaep's mind justice does not involve innocent until proven guilty.

https://www.nfl.com/news/colin-kaepernick-explains-why-he-sat-during-national-anthem-0ap3000000691077

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

Another quote from that or a subsequent interview.  Kaep was 100% protesting the flag and what he believes it represents, or doesn't represent.  He said it multiple times in several different ways.  It appears Brees may simply be guilty of knowing what Kaep actually said and did instead of accepting the meme it's become as fact.

"When there's significant change and I feel like that flag represents what it's supposed to represent, this country is representing people the way that it's supposed to, I'll stand. "

I haven't paid much attention to the NASCAR situation around Bubba Wallace. But this is interesting. The garage door pulls are, or were in 2019, very noose-like. The right image is Bubba's bay, and the loop is missing from the pull.

A wider view of two bay doors. Notice how much longer the door pull for door 5 is.

Grain of salt, and all that.

This aged well. What fucking idiots went along with this. Made a skeptical at the race and now all look like idiots. From what I read Bubba never saw it, but officials or his team both had to have looked at it. So dumb.

I hate to admit it, but it's kind of hard to dismiss that this was a publicity stunt.  I'm certainly not suggesting Bubba was part of it, and I bet he'll be pretty pissed off being associated with such an idea.  It just seems like more than a few people would have had to know better before this thing blew up.

Yeah that was awesome. Waking up to the news that they found a noose was not good. Way to go Alabama. I don't know which state is worst right now, them or Mississippi.

From what I read yesterday, Bubba never saw it. So either publicity stunt or someone being too sensitive. If the latter, who let it get so far??

That's the part that's hard to believe.  I realize it might have gone viral before officials even had a chance to react, and apparently they got the FBI in pretty quickly.  But before making any grand statements or gestures, how do you not go down to the garage and realize "oh, it's just a door pull"?  The next stall over literally has the exact same pull.

Or maybe there's a third scenario where they had no choice because claiming it was a door pull, even if the FBI confirmed it, might have been perceived as a cover-up?  It's not like they needed it to have the demonstration they did on Sunday.

Bubba is doubling down with Don Lemon. Wow. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt since it was reported that he'd never seen it and it was reported by a member of his crew. Now I know this guy is a dingus.

Bubba can fuck off. He apparently wants to go full retard. “From the evidence we have, from the evidence I have, it’s a straight up noose.” Ok, what’s the evidence? Because the FBI easily concluded the fucking thing had been there since October. A rope with a loop has other purposes besides hanging people. Like, more appropriately in the NASCAR setting, pulling down a big fucking garage door. He really comes off as a whiny bitch here that just has to be the victim.

Imagine my shock.

I don't know how many times this shit needs to happen before people say "wait a minute, I am going to let the facts and investigation play out first."  We are in the witch hunt phase, which will ultimately cause more harm than good for this cause.   Will Cain broke it down nicely, our media once again has failed us.

https://twitter.com/willcain/status/1275551488052473857?s=21 short thread sums it up pretty well.

If this was a publicity stunt, then it was the dumbest stunt every.

Nascar:  Hey guise everyone already perceives our “sport” to be full of a bunch of red neck racists. You know what would be a good idea? Let’s take advantage of everyone’s emotions and report a noose (it’s not really a noose LOL) is hanging in the garage of our only black driver.  We will gain so many more fans outside of our niche loyal fanbase after this PR 101!

When this first started I was hearing this theory (another Smollet situation) but didn't add anything because of the conspiracy theory nature of it.

This has gotten beyond stupid. From Justin't post of the "noose" in the park to this. A common moron can tell that the teeny tiny rope in Wallace's stall was NOT a noose. If it was, the only one it could hang would be Barbie & Ken.

2 more statues come down, this time in Wisconsin. One was an anti-slavery activist, the other a woman representing moving "forward". These idiots are so stupid, Trump is going to have election commercials for days. Another idiot in DC vowed to rip down the emancipation monument as well. City leadership in these places is abysmal.

It only takes a few decades of radical left-wing propaganda in our universities and public schools to produce these disgusting displays of ignorance and anarchy.

Take a bow, academia.
