You keep using "social worker" like someone was going to talk the girl down from attempting to murder someone with a knife in the 10 seconds the cop had to handle the situation. You don't bring a social worker to a knife fight.

A social worker 10 seconds before that would not have helped yes, but one that is there 5 mins or 10 mins before the cop rolled up could have, emphasis on could, prevented the escalation and death.

Do you think social workers have super powers? Just wondering how you think talking was going to stop that brawl from becoming a knife fight?

If you listen to the 911 call, and then other body cams, you get the full picture.

Oh for this one we need context....got it.

We are debating whether a social worker or a cop is needed at the scene of a domestic dispute over someone cleaning a house.  Why can’t adults handle their private business without needing a cop or a weapon?

I can see a lot going wrong with sending an unarmed civilian into a situation where a criminal has a weapon.

I really don't know how anyone who lived in DC can actually believe this.

Your definition of a cop and mine I think may be different....

I'm more referring to community presence local friendly member of the community cop. Not ones that only arrive when things go bad.

Yeah, this will work. LOL...maybe they should bring some ponies & rainbows with them too?

They will be cross-trained by Chuck Norris and Dr. Phil.  We need outside the box solutions!

But therapy animals and balloons is also a good start.

Basically what the left wants is for cops to not respond to these calls altogether.

I sort of agree with that.  Every person at the scene had an option to leave and didnt.  When a cop has to arrive at a house because someone didnt clean it, sorry but citizens lose their right to treated like adults at that point.

Well, here we go again.  Judge in NC blocked the release of the recent police shooting footage for 30 days.  Meanwhile, the family and their attorney will get to review the tape within the next 10 days.

But I'm confident the honest and honorable Ben Crump will not use that to his advantage to inflame the narrative.

Should we expect a "you're next" tweet from LeBron directed to the killer of the teenage girl who died in Bicentennial Park in Columbus this past weekend?  BLM - only if they're shot by white police I guess.

I’ll bring this thread back bc the cunts in Portland and the northwest are still breaking stuff. “White supremacy” still isn’t the things you have to be scared of.

Memphis cops looked like a gang beating. Enjoy life in jail (hopefully) fellas.

easily two of the worst police shootings i have seen

Wow, that's the worst take I've ever seen.  Not only should none of the cops go to jail, but none should even lose their job (though almost certainly will).

They are there looking for a guy named Donovan.  They yell multiple times.  They send a dog in multiple times.  They again yell multiple times to the closed door.

So tell me what it is you think the cops did wrong?  If Donovan rolls over and fires shots at them, would you be posting this saying "Now I get why some cops are trigger happy".

Context matters.  There have been way worse shooting than this.  About as close to textbook as it gets.

I hear a pretty clear "pop" before they open the door, when he then appears to raise his arms toward them.  Twitterverse predictably saying the audio is fucked up, but if he was awake why didn't he follow orders? Like his buddies, he'd be alive if he just opened the door and followed orders.

He was asleep and unarmed if and got zero point one second to comply

So the only way they could arrest him is at 2 am on a no knock raid? That’s stupid

From what I have seen, appears some action in Akron, not too much from reports
