CAMPBELL MEMORIAL 2011
-
reddevil90All we need is a go to receiver and a some decent ones. We are Campbell one of the very very few that made it to state on a running attack in the past. We have some of the biggest and best tail backs to play on Knapick field coming this season. Don't agree look at what Ja'les did this season. and you have Smith And Shawndale ray also. and who knows what other star is going to show up. Im not worried about receivers. Zetts better get his head into the game more. We have the one two knock out punch in the backfield. not in the air. Use it when needed but remember we can go all the way with just running backs. it was done before. and can be done again. Just got to have a better defense this year.
-
soupcitysoldierfrom what the state is proposing in terms of changes for the catholic/public disparity...if our numbers hold true and we get a break for having 90% free and reduced lunches...we will probably be sitting in division 5. the changes wont occur until 12-13 or 13-14. just in time for a run by these younger classes.
-
rmolin73Have with the MAC that is in 12-13 or 13-14.
-
reddevil90Could be nice. But remember that the state is been toying around for years with this stuff. if that holds true then they Ursuline and Mooney will not be a problem for div 4 5 6 . But could pose a problem for div 3. See these schools can adjust to rule changes and attendance...
-
soupcitysoldieri think when its all said and done...youll see mooney in d3, ursuline in d4, and campbell memorial in d5. preliminarily. As the states make adjustments youll see changes, but initially you will only be allowed to move up or down one division. i dont know if this is on a year to year basis only or your not allowed to move for a set number of years. the state will obviously decide on that. that they are considering economic demographics is unprecedented and has never been done before in any state, im glad were taking the torch on this because economics definitely go into not only athletic accomplishment but also academic.
-
soupcitysoldieri think what is really pushing the state to make a move is that the best private school (dsj) beat the best public school 77-6 in the state championship in d6. also ursulines semi-pro team. these changes will definitely help but im not exactly sure how much.
-
Rocket08Did you ever have an original thought?
-
soupcitysoldierwhere you been rocket??? youve been real quiet since sykotyk put you in your place. im glad youve carried your inability to make a valid point/argument over to this thread with your immature middle school style retorts. When i was in middle school i used to have the same dumb comebacks you now use. what middle school do you attend may i ask??? dork. if you want to have a public/private argument take it over to the other thread where sykotyk can make you look like an idiot again. i mean if i didnt know any better i wouldve thought you went to public school and he went to private school!!!! what makes it so much better is the stupid one line comments you would respond with in such a childish manner...i was starting to think you were going to respond "your momma!" soon because it was obvious your brain was all tapped out for the day!!!!! On to campbell football im done responding to you. go have a beer at the mvr with the rest of your sissy classmates.
-
rmolin73Shadyside was far from the best public school. The state title had been decided when two MAC schools played. If and when you drop down to D5 you will be facing the likes of Coldwater and company lol.
-
soupcitysoldiergeorgia boy? shouldnt you be somewhere making preserves out of peaches??? lol who in the world is talking about shadyside or coldwater??? did you post this on the wrong thread? anyways we were just talking about what the changes will do to campbell football, but it was good to hear from you. keep up the good work, hook on phonics is doing wonders for you.
-
rmolin73I believe that is hooked on phonics.

I believe you brought Shadyside into it. Or was it another team that was beat 77-6? -
soupcitysoldierYou come on here and try to start trouble with stupid comments that dont even apply and thats all you got??? quit wasting everyones time...by the way why do you even care about campbell or any schools around here anyways? you went to the best school in all of georgia and for some reason you care if campbell is good or not...or chime in on the public/private debate. i dont get it. do you send your kid to a private school? whats the reason for your dislike of campbell? Dont even bother i really dont care for your answer...your obviously unable to make an intelligent argument but care enough to make your snide remarks because of your shallow love for private schools even though your from georgia?! lol
-
rmolin73I'm just yanking your chain man relax a little. I'm indifferent when it comes to most schools including yours. No kids yet but we have one on the way and I will not send him/her to a private school since the school district we live in has the academics that mirror the private schools. I wish Campbell nothing but success this year.
-
soupcitysoldierok thank you very much.
-
cmhs_prideIts snowing outside. Thought I would toss that irrelevant comment in since we are talking about everything but Memorial football, 2011.
As for Rockets 08..........he was the same punk on jjhuddle. Pay no attention to the hardass behind a screen name. -

What did I ever do to you?
You'll never find a post where I disrespected you, or Campbell.
Some of your brethren on here just make crap up. I just point it out. Such as Shadyside being the best Public School in the state D6, when DSJ actually beat a D6 team in their own league by 4. Add to the fact that Shadyside beat 2 teams by 60, so why was the finals score so outrageous?
Also, solderboy just regurgitated exactly what the guy from the Beacon Journal, hence the no original thought
And can you give me a post where I was a "hard ass"? -
omemorialhighrocket08 private message me your cell number i think we should meet up and talk....
-
cmhs_prideRockets please OK...no I cannot go into my bag of posts I keep for moments like this and toss it out to you. Are you seriously asking me to try to find the posts from a couple years back on jjhuddle? Do you think I print them out and use them as bulletin board material before I log on to get fired up for my next ohio chatter session?
But please...on the huddle you teed off on me several times. Yourself and mooney44cards have made several smart ass remarks on several threads so save the "I am holy" crap for someone else. Apparently Omemorialhigh would like to get together so contact him and Ill tell you what....you two let me know where you are meeting for tea and Ill join ya. -
omemorialhighdrop me that p.m asap

There won't be any major changes, these coaches preach LOYALTY to these kids, and coach Mick has said more than a few times that he's committed to these kids. His Alma mater came at him really hard trying to lure him and very few people would pass up a chance to coach their Alma mater, coach did. And despite the records the last few years, that program is only a good coach away from turning it back around. One thing people don't normally see is the time they invest into their lives OFF the field. They're number one mission is to mold these boys into men.
On a side note, I'm watchin the highlight DVD of the season right now and wow....what a special year this was. Im gonna talk to someone and see if we can make them available to the public or at least see if we can upload them to 90s YouTube channel.
I'm really gonna miss these kids...I'll admit I teared up a couple times watchin it. -

omemorialhighgood to hear about sikora...im glad hes committed to campbell. sometimes we get used as a stepping stone, i know hes been a little frustrated with some bad attitudes and weight lifting turnout this offseason.
