Just a little info about Big Red and the Struthers Wild Cats!!!!! Struthers Smacked Big Red.. Yes Big Red!!! By the same score as the Devils.... 14-7.. And from what i heard from a friend next door that attended is that it could have been a lot worse... I have to give credit to Struthers! To beat Big Red and i know its just a scrimmage and that will be tossed around but it was game situation preview and the starters played too... And they beat them at Big Red stadium. Death Valley!! Very Very impressed. Hats Off to the cats...

I am glad to hear that a former Campbell kid has come to his senses and will no longer serve as organizational depth for Cardinal Mooney. He will actually come back and play varsity football instead of being a JV player his whole career. DJK is not a role model and these kids need to stop thinking if your good in football then you go to Mooney. There was a time when you lived in Campbell you went to CAMPBELL. Good to hear he is back.

    Is this Mr Quinn???

no mr quinn is fully entrenched as the starting qb at mooney. looks good also. i am happy for him, it wouldve been a shame if he wouldve never got a full year of high school football. thats the problem sometimes when you transfer and your not as good as advertised you trade 3 varsity years for 1.

Word has it that Mooney is running a spread offense this season which will allow P.J. Quinn to showcase his skills as a passer. Of course the Mooney schedule is brutal as usual. I wish them well.

Regarding the transfer Campbell Memorial is supposedly getting from Mooney, let's not post his name on the forum. According to a good source, I have information that the OHSAA approved the transfer just yesterday. Maybe we should hold off posting anything until we officially see him in uniform next Friday. He's a good kid.

PJ Quinn is a great kid with a great future ahead of him. If he plays up to his potential, Mooney will be hard to stop.

If PJ is like Rick then there is nothing to worry about.. Rick just had the unfortunate luck to play for coaches that did not help Campbell dig out of there slump.... But Rick was one hell of a Qb for Campbell during that time. Could only imagine if he had a coach and a team to show case his skill better during that time...

If you read the Steubenville threads, it's deceiving. Just from past posts, they always say Big Red shows nothing at these because so many people show up to scout. Impressive still, but id be somewhat skeptical to hear they really played against the same BR team you're going to see on Friday.
