  And no im not jealous im just sick and tired of nobody doing anything about parochial schools. So I'm doing all i can to keep Campbell players where they belong. Campbell's decline started with bad coaches and the leeches in the are. The Devil's will be on top for a long time to come. And as long as the leeches stay away will stay on top.

  how in the world can i be jealous of someone that lives in struthers? lol thats probably the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard. ok lets move on to campbell football...this isnt an ursuline thread. i did hear from a struthers guy yesterday who has a son on the team that struthers is going hard after bayuk to come rebuild the program. he hasnt heard anything about zetts. i told him i doubt bayuk would come, considering he left a good fcampbell team to lessen his own personal workload. i didnt think it made any sense to leave campbell to go to a program in dissarray. also the aac moving to a two tier league where struthers would move up with the likes of poland canfield howland hubbard wont bode well. i think struthers best bet is to get down on its knees and beg zetts to come back, but i could be wrong.

  If Bayuk goes to struthers then i lick my shoes. He is very very happy at howland. he retierd from campbell cause he didnt want to do anymore head coaching.

  struthers is in deep trouble because they went to open enrollment...theyll never compete in this valley if they continue to allow open enrollment.

Dude everyone knows it was A div 5 highway robbery!! Im no where Jealous. i feel for the kids that really deserve it. Parochial schools are messing it up for the public and have for the last 30 years. And here is the sad thing. there are two of them in Youngstown. so that's more area talent that gets stripped by public schools each year. I'm not saying that Mooney taking DJK hurt Campbell. It didn't it hurt the city pride. Campbell was doomed with bad coaching for a better part of 18 years. Now that we have good coaches in the system they are starting to stay home and win. Campbell always had the talent just not the coaches. the coach after Coach Soroka was a Californian drunk. He missed more practice then the team. so there you go. Ursuline can win without a good coach. they have the best talent the area has to offer. Just for you son ill put up the Mooney game today.. Give you a History lesson!!

I'm in the process of getting the 86 season and the 64 season. yes the 64 season if they can get it transferred to DVD. i think its one of only a few 60's teams on film. Don't think all the footage is there and all games but its better then nothing... This Channel is dedicated to Campbell Football.   History is always fun. ha. Nah. Anyways, yes struthers is doomed by open enrollment, its really a shame. And yes being in D5 is not exactly the best compeption but you cant help the school size.. hey maybe unicef will join the ohssa one day, but until then, we're the champs

  Pj Quinn Was Born And raised in Campbell. He never attended High school in Campbell. So your right and wrong. We are talking about the kids right now that just finished the little red devils and 9th grade. they are already people trying to talk them and the parents into getting them into Periodical schools. I also have heard that someone turned them in.... A parent that is a big time red devil fan and has flipped out on the people that are text messaging him .... Also the kid told him to go f*&^* himself....

  wow reddevil90 i hope they did turn them in...i get what your saying rocket90, its alot different when the student lives in your city limits, but this is my point and i think your missing it. pjs other siblings went and graduated from campbell, and i would hope these kids would chose to stay in campbell also. thats all im saying. his family has strong campbell ties...and i would hope he would carry that tradition. either way he has chose to be a backup at mooney, thats his choice. free country. in terms of struthers, probably the most terrible public school in terms of athletics in the valley. i know we get compared to them alot because we are both steel mill cities and are rivals, but in terms of athletic accomplishments there is no comparison. i only see struthers athletics taking a deeper turn for the worse as time goes by, they are the small fish in a pond full of sharks. enrollment numbers have shot up since "open enrollment" has been implemented. and i hope struthers does hire ungaro...thats a terrible hire, and the man is completely awful in terms of football knowledge. just because hes on howlands staff does not make him a good coach. im telling you now...this is a bad bad hire.

  lol youll prob get kicked off now but its cool. ummm sorry to burst your bubble here but from start to finish campbell probably is the most successful public mahoning county school. 1993 basketball state champs. 1993 baseball state champs. 1994 baseball state runner up. 1995 baseball state semi finalist. 1999 state baseball runner up. 1989 state football runner up. 1990 state football semi finalist. 1986 football regional champs. svc championships...mvc championships....i dont have time to list. the reality of the matter is that campbell has and always will produce teams, and no other public school in the county can compare to those accomplishments. sorry but its true. campbell is only second to youngstown south in the mahoning county in producing nfl DRAFT PICKS...that includes privates. so yes we are the bomb...just cus the mvc kicked us out and set us back doesnt mean we werent gonna come back to life. im sure alot of people said the same things about campbell in the 70s and then we came back in the 80s and 90s with dominant runs in all sports. the reality of the matter is that its a cyclical with publics....i hope not lowellville lol rocket08 what school do you represent?

  Ja'les Hughes Shawndale Ray In the Backfield. Defense needs some key players to step up. A kid by the name Reyes taking over at Qb as a Sophomore. we will be real young up front. but we have a senior class with tons of experience that will mold through the two a days. I just hope we don't have a repeat of the second round when a few just looked like they wanted the season over with. And Campbell should have handled that game. But a Devil Smacked a Devil. And its very hard to swallow. I have talk to a few players that played on the 91 to 93 team with him and said he in a way holds a grudge for some reason. But with Shawndale and Ja'les and i hope his little brother steps up should be a killer backfield. Like it should have been this year with Skevo and Ja'les. People don't see that Skevo was the Play maker and Ja'les was suppose to play less them Half the carries. Now only if Skevo didn't get hurt. But if we stay healthy next year and the seniors help the juniors and sophomores develop in the two a days it could be a special year. Unless we drop to div 5 with you know who.... We have a 50/50 to stay at div 4. and the others could move up one. man that will suck!!!!

  i heard from a reliable source that poland and mooney both might be dropping to d4...good chance mooney does. but they can control that so thats pretty much out of everyones hands except the mooney admin. i havent heard anything in terms of ursuline...until someone steps in and stops them (ohsaa) alls fair in love and war. i think this team will be rock solid. graduating that many seniors and a good young crop coming up...i think 7-3 would be a great season. this upcoming junior class will get alot of good quality playing time getting ready for their senior year. jales...its now his time, he busted onto the scene, now he has to produce big time this year. 2,000 yards is his goal. and he can do it if he gets stronger.

  Mooney may or may not be D3 since they were one boy shy of being D4 but Poland would have to lose about 50 boys in the next count to drop. Maybe, just maybe if you wouldn't be spewing nonsense soupcitysoldier you would be more believable. Why would Mooney not want to be D3? They won the title in 2009 in dominating fashion. Keep harping on the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, or the 90's until Campbell does something relevant in the 2000's you will continue to sound bitter By the way are you guys getting anymore players from over seas?

  well when my next door neighbor don bucci tells me mooney might be dropping to d4 i tend to listen...so you my friend have no idea what you are talking about. did i say it was an absolute? no. i said it was a possibility. maybe bucci doesnt know anything about mooney football...maybe the crazy old guy does. i apologize if his statement somehow offends your knowledge of the situation at mooney concerning enrollment. i apologize...ill make sure i tell bucci he doesnt know what the hell hes talking about. anyways...you guys are right...we should just wipe away all history from every school in the last 100 years and start fresh this year. usually schools with no history would like people to believe that. and im not surprised by your guys statements. overseas? michael farrington right? lets get one thing straight...he only played on one of those 90s teams. contrary to popular belief he wasnt on the state championship baseball team and didnt play 1b, 2b, 3b ss and centerfield all at the same time. so you using "teams" is inaccurate. also under intense scrutiny and investigation...michael had to sit out his whole junior year and 4 games his senior year until the state came to a decision. id love for some of these catholic schools get investigated like campbell did...and the state found no reason to not let the kid play. he came to this country to make a better life for himself and thats exactly what he did. he now serves in the us army and is defending our country in afghanistan. whenever he can he comes home to speak to the kids and tries to lead them on the right path...and uses his life as an example that you can make something out of nothing. sad but you guys will trash him...but the state investigated for a year and half and he was completely clean. catholic schools never are investigated like this. do you know how i know campbell athletics are still relevant buddy???? that you still hate campbell so much prob because we dominated you in the past...that you find time out of your pathetic life to come on a campbell forum to bother us guys that are trying to talk campbell football in 2011...thats how i know campbell is still relevant, because if it wasnt you wouldnt waste your time. thanks for flattering us.

  First off pal you may need to do a little research but you have never dominated my school since I am not from Ohio. Even when your school was at its greatest my Alma Mater would have named the score against you guys. If you would not have got into a tizzy I pretty much stated that it is a possibility that Mooney may or may not be D4 since they were 1 boy over. But how do you explain your Poland comment? If you are strictly talking Campbell then why are you hating so much on the private schools. It amazes me how you guys in Ohio hate good programs since yours may not be on the same level. But I will leave you to talk Campbell football 2011 now I apologize for hijacking your thread
