Division IV Region 14

We need to focus on West Holmes first before we think about week 9.

Genoa won 50-10. Nobody from tonight suprised me too much other than OG losing. Not that they lost, but by how much. I'm thinking it was a hangover loss from Kenton, but worth keeping an eye on, nonetheless.

Heard they had a few starters out due to suspensions....I believe alcohol was involved! Still don't know that entire story just saw it on JJ's.

Milan Edison LOST to Port Clinton tonight. In my opinion Edison is pretty much out of the playoff picture. I posted somewhere on here about Port Clinton being a scary team this year. Huron also lost to Clyde.

Interesting night in the region. /surprised by the OG game. Clear Fork seems to be rolling. Red Rider Defense has not allowed a point in the OCC games....offensively they continue to struggle. EC will cruise the rest of the way. Same with Genoa. Clear Fork and Orrville will have play off atmosphere games down the stretch most every week. Gotta love it!

The Orrville defense is really impressing me!

Ottawa Glandorf and Kenton have a tremendous chance of rematching in the state title in my opinion. Also they could run through the region the way Genoa did 2 years ago, not blowouts but double digit wins in each game. I see Ottawa Glandorf doing something similar

Hmmmmm.....maybe a kink in the armor? OG was 5th in the region going into last night. With the loss not sure where that will put them. Still, they are formidable foe for any region 14 team, and I still stick by my post that they will absolutely NOT RUN THRU REGION as classyposter stated. Week 4 was pretty early to predict dominance.

Well it can be but how many top players were suspended for this game?

Genoa game was a joke. It was 21-3 after 10 minutes and that's when we put our JV in and left them and the Freshman in throughout the game. I am actually pretty impressed our JV and Freshmen won 29 to 7 over a varsity

Only 10 second level points for OG last night (Kenton and Defiance each beat a D3 team.) They'll probably get jumped by Galion. 6th in the region at best for OG. Their week 1-3 opponents are a combined 1-14....that wont help. But that just means they'll be a real tough 4 or 5 seed.

EC will stay at 1, then Orrville 2, Genoa 3, CF 4, Galion 5, OG 6.

    Awesome job Genoa freshman......NOT!

You must light a candle, O-villeQB08!

Seriously, though, this talk about who did what and how it is playing out is very interesting reading to BRF. It's a great region. All the banter back and forth is cool.

They did alright. Granted, they let up USV's touchdown, but we still let them on the bus after the game :D

Ohio State pulls a "Genoa" today. Based on that "regular season" score, the Buckeyes should go all the way! ;-)

In Eastern Michigan's defense, they do play the toughest schedule in the MAC ;-)

Haha, this is more like it! All in fun and jokes! Let's keep it this way until we meet in the playoffs. :D

Is Joe Eitel on vacation this weekend?
  • Old Rider
    I've been wondering the same.

He may be checking to see if teams get extra points for their "J.V. and Freshman beating a varsity team 29-7"...
