Not sure if this was posted, but it's nice to get a feel good story on here with all this negativity lol. I was happy to be at the week 1 game (even with the idiotic loss) and see Donovan get a standing ovation at the first commercial timeout. -
DeyDurkie5jim donovan is the best

Great story but I'd heard Holmgren didn't even know who Donovan was...he had to be pointed out at the presser so Holmgren could give him that game ball.like_that;1041824 wrote:http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/article-1/Donovan-gets-game-ball/ce0fc4c0-1348-45b9-855f-76035e8dee95

He had to be pointed out when he was right in front of Holmgren and nothing like giving the game ball of a 4-12 team.BR1986FB;1041931 wrote:Great story but I'd heard Holmgren didn't even know who Donovan was...he had to be pointed out at the presser so Holmgren could give him that game ball. -

So who trades up to get RGIII now? -
DeyDurkie5Saw that article...Just means we are trading back

No issue with that if that if the QB is in place.DeyDurkie5;1042070 wrote:Saw that article...Just means we are trading back -

not gonna be this year br..you are starting to sound like a broken record hahaBR1986FB;1042089 wrote:No issue with that if that if the QB is in place. -
Crimson streakIf we don't want to draft a qb I actually like Flynn he made great throws all game long vs det. Last week. I think he would actually be pretty solid
-
DeyDurkie5
so you want him based off one game? hmmmCrimson streak;1042320 wrote:If we don't want to draft a qb I actually like Flynn he made great throws all game long vs det. Last week. I think he would actually be pretty solid -

I'm warming to this idea a bit more. Another name I've heard lately is the rehashing of Kevin Kolb. Skelton may have taken his job. Not a Kolb fan but Heckert drafted him.Crimson streak;1042320 wrote:If we don't want to draft a qb I actually like Flynn he made great throws all game long vs det. Last week. Problem is...The Packers will most likely throw the franchise tag on him, so you will have to trade them to get him.Crimson streak;1042320 wrote:If we don't want to draft a qb I actually like Flynn he made great throws all game long vs det. Last week. I think he would actually be pretty solid -
Crimson streakFrom what I have seen of him he has a pretty strong arm and has learned from aaron Rodgers. That alone says a lot. I just think he will be like a Matt schaub.

Holmgren's ego is huge and this is just the type of "project" he'd undertake. Dude knows the offense and has NFL experience versus a drafted rookie.DeyDurkie5;1042324 wrote:so you want him based off one game? hmmm -

Flynn's arm isn't much stronger than McCoy's. The difference is that Flynn is decisive & accurate.Crimson streak;1042327 wrote:From what I have seen of him he has a pretty strong arm and has learned from aaron Rodgers. That alone says a lot. I just think he will be like a Matt schaub. -

This is a huge risk for GB. If nobody "bites" they are paying their backup $14 million when Aaron Rodgers is currently making either $6 or $8 million.wes_mantooth;1042326 wrote:Problem is...The Packers will most likely throw the franchise tag on him, so you will have to trade them to get him. -

From what I've seen he has a pretty decent long ball way better than mccoys -

Yeah I don't see that happening -

My cat has a better "long ball", coughing up a hairball than McCoyCrimson streak;1042333 wrote:From what I've seen he has a pretty decent long ball way better than mccoys -

Im starting to think it goes way beyond just hatin the guy....I've never seen someone with such negativity towards one player in so many posts.
I could say "we need an OLB" and br would respond with a McCoy bash.
Its gettin ridiculous. -
DeyDurkie5haha we do need an OLB though!

colt's bad but it's hard to tell how bad due to the overall ineptitude of the rest of the offense. if griffin somehow falls to four, i have no problem taking him. i'm not really on-board with moving up to get him, though. if no griffin, take blackmon (or claiborne) and go offense with the falcons pickSportsAndLady;1042356 wrote:Im starting to think it goes way beyond just hatin the guy....I've never seen someone with such negativity towards one player in so many posts.
