wes_mantoothFuck this season...lets move on.
couple things...
Shurmur sucks
Colt sucks
MoMass sucks
The right side of the line sucks
and the front office sucks.

BR1986FBDefintely need a new QB, some playmakers at WR, a RT and a few impact players on defense.
They ARE getting closer to the Steelers regardless of what some want to think. Played both games VERY close. A legit franchise QB and a few weapons puts them over the top in both of those games and both Cincy games, imo. -

Definitely, or the defense not falling asleep on a fluke bush league play in week 1. That honestly set the tone for a season of cluster fuck.BR1986FB;1034088 wrote:Defintely need a new QB, some playmakers at WR, a RT and a few impact players on defense.

robj55So who are you guys hoping for in the first round, which qb?
-
wes_mantoothYeah, although, I think the Steelers are pretenders this year. They played the same basic weak schedule as us, so I think they are on the decline.
My problem with the Browns is that there is so many needs that I can't make up my mind what you do with the 4th pick -
ytownfootballCan't believe we just finished watching another 4 win season.
-
DeyDurkie5ANDREW LUCK OR RG3
MIKE WALLACE TYPE WR
LB/DE -
IggyPride00The QB position and O-Coordinator absolutely have to be addressed this off-season. Nothing else matters until those 2 things are addressed.
-
wes_mantoothI don't know how things are projected now, but i am still for taking Blackmon if he is there at 4.
Would you guys be ok if Bradford was acquired? -

I don't think adding a rookie WR is going to help this team a whole bunch, I'd rather get a vet via FA at that position.wes_mantooth;1034125 wrote:I don't know how things are projected now, but i am still for taking Blackmon if he is there at 4.

Carson Palmer just commanded a 1st and 2nd round pick.wes_mantooth;1034125 wrote:I don't know how things are projected now, but i am still for taking Blackmon if he is there at 4.

I am not sure I think Bradford is worth that right now, but you can bet St. Louis will use that as an opening bid. -
wes_mantoothI don't think St Louis has the leverage because of Bradford's contract. I keep hearing this coming up on sports talk though
-
IggyPride00One thought about this year is that it ended up being so bad I think the Front Office has burned up any residual good will and benefit of the doubt they may have had with the fan base.
They need to make something happen next year, and I think there may be more urgency there this off-season than their might have been if they won 6-7 games.
Hopefully this lights a fire under Holmgren's ass to get off his ass and start making it happen. -
like_thatAs an NFL fan, this might have been the worst season I have experienced.

MulvaNeeds: QB, WR (2), RT, OG, DE, OLB (2), CB, S (coverage), depth everywhere, a new play caller
I'd love to see them go after a guard and WR in free agency. Nicks or Grubbs would both look great in a Browns uni. I'd also love Colston or Bowe, and I might even take a chance on V-Jax. Not that I expect any of that to happen, but it would be nice.
In the draft I'd be happy going QB, WR (depending on free agency), or CB with the 1st pick. After that it all depends on how free agency shakes out.
Cut ties with: Sheldon Brown, MoMass, Alex Smith (free agent anyway). There are more but that's a good starting point. -
Pick6I'll wait to see what they do in FA before I give an opinion on how they should draft. Regardless, I think that the organization will make the right decisions as they have the past few drafts. Really would rather them not take RGIII though. Just think he is too much of a risk, and his skinnier frame won't last long in the AFC North. I wouldn't mind Luck if they do decide to go QB. I think he is a safe pick and has a big body that will be able to take some hits from Harrison, Polamalu, etc.

YtowngirlinflaWell there goes my Colt McCoy jersey I just bought. Oh well.
-
shook_17first thing is cut massaqoui. like br said, a legit qb, and legit wide out we beat the steelers both times and bengals, and possibly the ravens the second game. we are def closing in on some teams. but another 4 win season. glad this shit is over and i can watch some legit football in the playoffs.

I'm not a huge Blackon fan at #4 because I think he's anquan boldin. I dont think he's a larry fitz, AJ Green, Calvin Johnson type WR. Not big enough to outleap everyone, not big enough to muscle around the middle, and not fast enough to be a burner. Still a good WR but I doubt he is ever considered a to WR and gae changer that scares a team.wes_mantooth;1034125 wrote:I don't know how things are projected now, but i am still for taking Blackmon if he is there at 4.

like_thatAlso, next year, I don't want to see this wear white every game bullshit. Even the Browns uniform situation was a cluster fuck.
-
Crimson streakWell right now Indy will definitely listen to the browns offer for luck they would move to 4 and pick either rg3 or Claiborne. If we don't trade up I expect Blackmon or kalil to go to stl and Blackmon or Claiborne to go to minny. I personally want a qb either luck or rg3

If Steinbach returns, I think they'd be OK at guard moving Pinkston to RG. They definitely need an upgrade at RT. I like Nicks, if they decide to go that route, but it would also be great to kick the Rats in the nuts by taking Grubbs away from them.Mulva;1034151 wrote:Needs: QB, WR (2), RT, OG, DE, OLB (2), CB, S (coverage), depth everywhere, a new play caller

If they can fix the QB position, add a speed receiver and a red zone target at WR (2 receivers to pair with Little), along with fixing that right side of the line I think the offense could be solid.
I'm OK with Gocong at OLB but Fujita has to go. Would also be fine with moving Sheldon Brown to safety to allow Ward to support the run. RDE is a must. Sheard seems to be the only one consistently bringing pressure. A nice corner opposite of Haden would be good but I think they are pretty high on Patterson & Skrine. -

What makes you believe this?Crimson streak;1034184 wrote:Well right now Indy will definitely listen to the browns offer for luck -

Agreed. Blackmon is slower than Little and about the same as MoMass. Get a speedster in here. Someone a defense fears. They have enough possession types.Commander of Awesome;1034173 wrote:I'm not a huge Blackon fan at #4 because I think he's anquan boldin. They seem to think manning will bounce back no problem and they want to win now. They like rg3 a lot and they can get a future qb yet still fill needs for a win now mode with an addition 1 st rounder and they have the first 2nd rd pick. Honestly if I'm Indy that's a very smart move for them
