Correct. I think blackmon goes to st louis or minny.wes_mantooth;1036269 wrote:I know this doesn't matter, but if Minny would have hung on and beat Chicago...would we have been 3rd? -

Yup. Fuck minny.wes_mantooth;1036269 wrote:I know this doesn't matter, but if Minny would have hung on and beat Chicago...would we have been 3rd? -

yeah, I don't see him getting by Minny. I really think St Louis will be the most interesting team in the draft. With new people in place...where does that leave Bradford? Should be interesting.shook_17;1036282 wrote:Correct. I think blackmon goes to st louis or minny. -

I think they did that to the Browns.like_that;1036283 wrote:Yup. Fuck minny. -
DeyDurkie5I've said all along that drafting blackmon would be awesome...I just think if RG3 is there, or you have a chance to get luck, you do it.

LOL this thread isn't about tebow, you dumbass!Skyhook79;1036291 wrote:I think they did that to the Browns. -

Maybe it is. Maybe we could trade both first rounders to get him.DeyDurkie5;1036294 wrote:LOL this thread isn't about tebow, you dumbass! -

minny is the wildcard of the draft. can't see any way the first two picks aren't luck and kahil.wes_mantooth;1036285 wrote:yeah, I don't see him getting by Minny. If that is true, how do they not draft Blackmon? I can't picture them grabbing a qb since they drafted Ponder so high last year.dazedconfused;1036299 wrote:minny is the wildcard of the draft. can't see any way the first two picks aren't luck and kahil.
EDIT: although, somebody trading with them seems like a fit. -

I would become a steelers fan, and it would be the saddest day of my lifewes_mantooth;1036298 wrote:Maybe it is. Maybe we could trade both first rounders to get him. -
zach24ozBlackmon is winning me over by watching him play tonight...if he does get past the 3rd pick, I would have a hard time not picking him. Especially if both he and RGIII are there. Would you take Blackmon and a LB/OL in the 1st round or go RGIII and say Alshon Jefferyin the 1st?
-
shook_17Obviously if they think RGIII is the guy they are going to take him. No sense of taking a wide out with nobody to throw to him. They could grab floyd, jeffery or wright with that second 1st round pick. Or they could go blackmon then taninhill with the second first rounder which I would hate.

I am not big on Floyd, but Jeffery would be nice.shook_17;1036357 wrote:Obviously if they think RGIII is the guy they are going to take him. No sense of taking a wide out with nobody to throw to him. Also, I finally saw the Jeffery ejection...complete bullshit. A guy was swinging at him and he just shoved back. -
shook_17^^ I agree not a fan of floyd. Jeffery has the height and the hands, he is a good size dude, On downside with jeffery is his speed. He's def not a speed deman. I haven't seen it yet but I heard it was bullshit.

shook_17lol blackmon just got his 3rd td reception.

zach24ozI dont think I would mind Jeffery or Kendall Wright with the 2nd 1st rd pick...along with getting a WR in FA. That could help out the O a ton...I would like to some how get LaMichael James if he would fall to the 3rd round. Need to get all the playmakers we can get.
-
wes_mantoothJeffery is one of those guys that could really move up if he has a good combine. If he even shows decent speed and vertical, I could picture him moving way up.
-
zach24ozNot to be greedy but how about Blackmon and Jeffery/Wright? Obviously no chance of this happening but after watching Blackmon in this game I would take him at #4 if he's there and RGIII is gone.
-
hoops23Jeffery runs a ~4.45 40... It's not like he's some WR who can't create separation.
Larry Fitz ran a 4.6
It's not about the 40, it's about how well the WR can create separation. IMO, Alshon does that very well.
I'm starting to think we won't see Blackmon. My nightmare situation is Luck, Blackmon, and RGIII taken in the first 3. -

SportScience said he has the range of Plaxico Burress cause of him really long arms and crazy vertical. He may not be super tall but he plays big. Kinda like how Dennis Rodman was only 6'6"Commander of Awesome;1034173 wrote:I'm not a huge Blackon fan at #4 because I think he's anquan boldin. I dont think he's a larry fitz, AJ Green, Calvin Johnson type WR. Not big enough to outleap everyone, not big enough to muscle around the middle, and not fast enough to be a burner. Still a good WR but I doubt he is ever considered a to WR and gae changer that scares a team. -

Uhh the Steelers have some key young pieces up front. This offense with the exception of Hines Ward really aren't that old. I don't think Pittsburgh will be down for quite a long time as long as they start getting some more younger LB's in and maybe a CBwes_mantooth;1034102 wrote:Yeah, although, I think the Steelers are pretenders this year. They played the same basic weak schedule as us, so I think they are on the decline.
