Outside of that he's been shit. And he hasn't gotten any better in 3 years.
lol well that's because our offense sucks ass. His catch against hte dolphins showed his skill. put him in an offense with other playmakers and i think he thrives

Oh yeah, you can probably add Chicken Fujita and Jayme Mitchell to that list too....but Mitchell might be decent depth.
  • BR1986FB
Massaquoi looked decent as a rookie when he had Braylon as a decoy.

Lol no...they take rg3 and then add a free agent receiver and draft another wr with their second or third pick and then we can talk contending...but with 3 playoff teams in our division, even that's a stretch

Roethlisberger didn’t see Mendenhall get hurt, but said he was upset that
some Browns fans cheered his teammate’s misfortune.

“I’m really disappointed,” said Roethlisberger, who improved to 14-1 in
his career against Cleveland. “I know these Browns fans are passionate, but when
you hear fans cheer when a guy goes down that’s really disappointing. I don’t
care who it is or if you really hate that team.”

I'm not condoning the cheering but Ben's a hypocrite...go figure.

Yup..the bar I was at erupted when McCoy was lying on the ground. The loudest they were the whole game

Yeah, he'll need plenty of weapons around him at receiver but I'd still like his upside more than anything on the roster. Wouldn't hurt to build up a decent rushing attack as a buffer until he learns the offense ala Roethlisberger/Flacco.

I like rg3 but no rookie qb is gonna lead a bunch of shitty receivers to the playoffs.

Now 2013 I could agree with that..but theygotta upgrade their receivers eventually

    That is how I feel.

While Richardson likely is a step up from a healthy Hillis, it isn't that huge that I think it is worth wasting a top 5 pick on when Hillis can be a 1,200 yard back if healthy and he is already on the roster.

I would rather see that pick put toward a need position that has nothing on the current roster that would be anywhere near as serviceable comparatively.

That is exactly what I was getting at with my comment about creating a hole where there currently isn't one. Hillis isn't MJD, but he is capable enough that we should be focusing on areas that are total black holes in terms of talent.

Braylon was only on the team for 4 games during MoMass' rookie season, and these are the numbers Mo put up.

    1 catch, 18 yds
    0 catches
    1 catch, 13 yds
8 catches, 148 yds (the Bengals game I mentioned)

So I'm not sure where you guys are coming up with these memories.

I'm not basing my argument on that. I'm saying that mo mass, if given talent around him, would excel in this type of offense. That's my personal opinion though from watching him play. agree, disagree, whatever

I honestly would not care a whole lot of they took a flier on Flynn and get rid of Wallace or Colt...Dump one off and bring in Flynn. Get him for a cheap deal and see if he can do anything...they can still take RGIII or Luck with their 1st pick if theyre not already picked by the 4th pick. You can have Flynn and one of the rookie QBs compete for the job. I think Flynn would probably be an upgrade over Wallace/Colt anyway.

I don't know that he would go that cheap and if you take Luck or RGIII, you probably have to start them from day 1....or at least that is the impression I get.

So if that happens you would have Flynn as your backup rather than having Wallace or Colt to deal with...I think having having let's just say RGIII and Flynn is a big upgrade at the position for the Browns anyway.
  • DeyDurkie5
flynn is not goin to come to the browns, to be our back up..please use your head

If what is floating out there is true...he is going to get starter's money.

Blackmon is having a killer game and he's not even 100% healthy. I think it's a fair to say that Blackmon at 70% is better than any WR on the Browns roster at 100%.
  • shook_17
he has 2 catches 2 tds for 110 yards. hes having a good game. dude on the OBR said it good, hes like TO but with better hands and no attitude

Blackmon is really winning me over. Not that I was ever against picking him in the first place.

Yeah, Flynn isn't going to come "cheap".

Hey, I guess I haven't been vocal about it, but I support Blackmon as well. I think he is going to be a beast.

    Blackmon or RGIII

    Dream scenario:

Trade our late 1st, 2nd, next years 2nd or 3rd for Tampas 5th pick

    Draft Blackmon 4, RGIII 5
  • wes_mantooth
I know this doesn't matter, but if Minny would have hung on and beat Chicago...would we have been 3rd?
  • dazedconfused
as long as it's either blackmon or rg3, im good
