Wait a second...how in the hell did I get dragged into this? -
robj55A lot of people give dynasty a lot of shit on here but I would value someones opinion who has played at a high level over someone who hasn't, just my two cents.

Point guards are supposed to get their teammates involved, not be the leading scorer or shoot 20-25 times a game. Even though it is starting to evolve..
Deron Williams isnt a guard who gets his team involved? You're serious?
And I think having a "true" point guard is overrated. Fisher won multiple titles not being a true pg, Tony Parker did, and the Rockets won back to back titles as well without a real facilitator at the PG position. It might help certain teams out (like Boston and Detroit when they won) but its not necessary. -

so you'd listen to Emmitt Smith/Pacman Jones/OchoStinko/Ryan Leaf/Plaxico over a guy like Charlie Weiss? Yeah thought so. Fail arguement. -

I just respect someones opinion who can and has played the game at a high level over someone who hasn't that's all. -

Dynasty gets brief mostly because of his negative attitude towards the Cavs. He has always been that way, thats why people give him a hard time. Hes entitled to his opinion about players, like whether or not Rondo is a top 5 pg or D Williams will be a star at the NBA level. Playing the sport has nothing to do with any of that.
I played college football that doesnt mean I know more about the NFL than a guy like BR -

Where did you play ball? I played at Baldwin-Wallace. -

Yeah, you were bunkmates with roda! -

haha. Damnit, guess using you to prove a point was a bad example
Anyways, I played at Walsh for a year before I transferred down to OSU. I tried to walk on at OSU but realized there was no fucking way that was going to happen. -

And over the last year I've been pretty correct regarding the Cavs. The problem with certain people is they can't separate opinion from disdain. Those simpletons are the immature ones that add nothing to a discussion other than generic insults like pwn and fail. -
BR1986FBWell, well, well...listening to R&R again this afternoon apparently the new rumor is the Cavs pursuing Russell Westbrook. Question is, do you trade that #1 pick straight up for him?
-
Hb31187I think Westbrook is better than Irving ever will be. But idk, thats a tough one

I would. Doubt it would happen though. -
sleeperI'll take Irving. We are not in a "win now" mode, we are in a building mode.

I would love it, dont think the Thunder are ready to give up on him yet.
I do think that Westbrook or Harden will end up leaving that team. Both of those guys are gonna get paid when their current contract is up. I remember there were rumors a year or so ago with the Cavs going after Harden for Varejao.......I would love to have James Harden as our starting sg -

Okay are we throwing out rumors similar to the Chris Paul to Cleveland rumors? No way Okie City trades him for a draft pick unless it's the 1st and the 4th. -

I dont see Westbrook going anywhere but I def think a guy like Harden could be had. They just paid Durant and Perkins, I dont thinkk they will be able to give Harden and Westbrook the kind of money that they will demand -

WTF? This is why people give you shit. The CP3 rumor was legit. People discussing it weren't pulling shit out of their ass. -

Harden has 3 years left and as a team they are WAY under the cap. Both guys are under 22 so there is zero chance they trade either. -
hoops23As for Harden, I would LOVE to have this guy. I've loved his game since ASU.
He's going to be a legit starting SG in the NBA. -

Yes they were. There would have been much better offers and he wasn't going to sign long term. It didn't make sense for either side. -

Just unfortunate he is playing with a better one right now. -

lol No I'm saying that Westbrook is a 2 playing the 1. -

After they got rid of Green he started getting more minutes. They liked him off the bench this year but theres no reason he can't play along with Westbrook and Durant.
