Play JJ at the PF position for a year.thedynasty1998;780048 wrote:I'm not recommending that. A top PG is better than an average PF. My point is that the Cavs can fill both spots and it's imperative that they upgrade the PF position.
Ad for Rondo, he's very good. But Miami exposed him because they forced that series to be played in the halfcourt. That's Rondos weakness. Also I love Conley, but he's a floor general not someone who is a difference maker and same can be said for Kidd.
I understand the importance if a PG but I think there are other positions much more important and history proves that.
I dont think JJ is nearly as bad as alot of people think. The kid has grown quite a bit as a player, hes only 23 -

Averaged basically 14/9 last season after a torrid finish to the second half...
Had something like 6 games of 20+pts and 15+rebs..
Went head to head twice with Amar'e and more than held his own. -
hoops23I think a frontline of Kanter and JJ to go with Irving would be a great core.
You want to assemble the best talent possible.
Dynasty keep talking about a great PF...
What did Pau do in Memphis? What has Love done in Minny? What did Bosh do in Toronto? -
BR1986FBMeh...Hickson can GTFO for all I care. Still think the dude is a head case.
-
KR1245Hickson has some growing up to do but the kid has talent. His last 15 games he averaged 20 and 11.

Played pretty well against Griffin
28 and 9
27 and 14
in two games vs the Clips -

That's my point about adding Kanter to play with Hickson. I'm not saying to bench Hickson.
Pay in Memphis? You're going back that far? I personally think a PF is of more value than a PG. It's a matter if opinion. An average PG can be hidden. An average PF will get abused because that position is so good and deep in the NBA. -

I think that is his problem. He plays his ass off against the stars and then disappears against others. His problems are in his head....needs to be focused every game. -

You're obviously not familiar with his body of work although, in this case, I don't really have an issue with some of what he's saying.
I will say that PG is first and foremost the MOST important position for the Cavs to take care of. The league seems to be PG "driven" at this point. -
BR1986FBOff topic but in honor of tonight's "Dinner with a Legend" I give you Mr. Craig Ehlo...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O935MFKcz08
And Mr Mark Price who I believe would STILL be one of the elite PG's in the NBA today....enjoy

thedynasty1998There isn't one thing on this thread that I said that even in the slightest be considered trolling. Some people are too immature to be involved in a discussion on a message board (it's beyond me why people get on message boards but refuse to accept others opinions).

Right, because PG isn't deep...
CP3, DWill, Rondo, Rose, Westbrook...
Then you have
Jennings, Holiday, Evans (though he plays both G positions), John Wall, Darren Collison etc...
Hell, you may have seen the emergence of Jeff Teague in the playoffs as well...
It's not like OKC didn't hide average PF play... The two teams in the NBA Finals don't even have prototypical PF's... Chicago doesn't even have a bonafide All Star at PF...
I'm much higher on an elite caliber PG than I am a PF. IMO, it's easier to hide an average PF than it is a PG. A PG is the guy running the offense and you need to have a guy who can give it back to those aforementioned PG's as well.
If you have a PF who can give you some offense, but also rebound and defend, you'll be fine. The fact is though, you'll need more than 1 great player regardless of position. -
thedynasty1998You are only further proving my point with the teams in the Finals. Both teams have elite PF and average PG play. And before you say Lebron is a PG keep in mind there is a difference between a PG and a facilitator.
And the guys you mentioned are hardly elite players in Jennings, Wall, etc... Good players yes, but not great players. -

As mentioned before, there's a reason everyone pwns dynasty. No matter what he's talking about. He has too long of a track record as a dipshit passive aggressive troll similar to Turdo that it doesn't matter anymore. His rep is destroyed. He has zero credibility anymore and its automatically assumed he's trolling just like Capone.Footwedge;780674 wrote:What's with the hatefest on Dynasty? Isn't the man entitled to an opinion? QFT. Crynasty makes it sound like you get a beast at PF and you win. Obv not the case, hell look at Blake Griffin who at one point he was championing for MVP (lolfail) then he was on the Amare train (lolfail). He has a hardon for the position because he thinks he's played it in community college (so he says, I have yet to ever find a boxscore with his name in it). -
bases_loadedWhoever said Rondo was exposed needs to GTFO.

BR1986FBbases_loaded;781646 wrote:Whoever said Rondo was exposed needs to GTFO.
+1...now WHO do you think might have said that? -
thedynasty1998In Miami series:
Game 1 - 6 pts, 3 assists, 2 reb
Game 2 - 10, 5, 2
Game 3 - 6, 11, 3
Game 4 - 20, 12, 6
Game 5 - 8, 7, 7
Hardly the production you would expect from a top 5 PG. And yes I know he got hurt. -
thedynasty1998I'll await for someone to look at that production and still tell me he wasn't exposed as not being elite.
-

We tell this to you all the time, stats aren't everything. As for one playoff series, way to cherry pick. He was fantastic all season. Nice troll fail you smug pos. -
thedynasty1998I'm trolling by saying Rondo isn't elite?
And my original comment was that MIAMI exposed him. Why the fuck would I use stats from any other game or series when I am solely talking about one series.
I like Rondo, I just don't think he's a top 5 PG and Miami magnified his weaknesses because they made him play in the half court. -

You did it yourself with this "And yes I know he got hurt" statement. If LeQuitter is going to get a pass for his FAKE elbow injury than Rondo should get one for a LEGIT injury.
