Just heard that it's believed that Kemba Walker's stock is "dropping like a rock" due mostly to his measurements (<6 foot height).

That and he won't be starter on a good NBA team, he's an undersized two guard, can't run an NBA team. He will be instant offense off the bench ala Jason Terry though I think.

Yet the Cavs should take him at #4 because "Gilbert's dumb" (per Gibby)

    Doesnt surprise me

Saw that Kyrie was a little over 6'3 with shoes.....I like it

Exactly. He has size, quicks, playmaking ability and can shoot from anywhere.

Did anyone think Kemba was over 6'0"? He looked small in college. I really think he struggles in the NBA unless he finds a way to adapt his game.

He'll be a scorer off the bench, nothing more imo

And just because you think you're special because you're going to be an ambulance chaser doesn't make you educated either BTW

The fact is....Irving is injury prone and IMO will end up just like Oden

If Gilbert was smart(which he isn't) he would go anywhere near Irving and would take Kanter or Williams at No.1 and Kemba at No.4

Sigh, Gibby, you're never going to learn.

Not sure if this is old news or not but apparently the Cavs may have offered the #4 pick for Rudy Gay....

Like the article points out, that deal offered wont get it done, but I'm glad they're trying. I'd love to see Rudy gay in a Cavs uni, liked his game since college.
  • SportsAndLady
Big Rudy Gay fan...don't wanna give up too much for him though.

New rumor that surfaced from two different sources over the weekend (heard on WKNR), the Cavs ship #1 & #4 to Utah for Paul Millsap, Gordon Hayward and the #3 pick in the draft (assumed they'd take Knight). Don't like this one at all.
  • jpake1
Yea, the Grizz kindly declined. Pretty easy decision. I don't think Gay would have been too happy had they agreed to a horrible decision. Just for discussion, how would you guys feel about Brandon Roy or Joe Johnson for the #4? I wouldn't be happy with it as a fan, if I were one. But if I'm the Blazers or Hawks and I ever get that call I say yes we'll fedex him overnight.

Basically trading the #1 pick for Millsap and Heyward. Really not sure how I feel about that. Obviously Utah wants Irving.
  • jpake1
No thank you Utah, but it at least made us think for a few minutes.
  • KR1245
Not intersted in either one of these trades

I like Rudy but I dont think hes what the Cavs need right now. Adding him to the roster could put the Cavs in contention for the playoffs next season. I think they need another year with a high lottery pick before they worry about adding a guy like Gay
  • devil1197
I wouldn't give up too much more for Gay.

And that Utah trade sounds like shit. The only thing remotely good about it is that I like Knight, but you don't give up the #1 pick for Millsap/Hayward.

If they did that, it would set them back at least 3 more years.

That is a TERRIBLE trade. The 2 players you get at 1 and 4 will be better than Heyward and Millsap the minute they put the hat on.

I wouldn't really take any semi-veteran guy back. The only way that Cleveland builds a contender is through multiple high draft picks. I'm talking 4-6 lottery picks for the next 3 years. This year is a great start. They'll probably have a high lottery pick next year and a very late 1st.

I agree. Wouldnt be surprised to see them try to find a way to get another lottery pick next year as well.

You get Irving and a big this year
Maybe add a wing player like Barnes/Gilchrist/Jones next year
