Do you honestly think the Cavs just called up to see if he was available? You dont think they had any sort of proposal on the table? Dont be ignorant
You cut it off to benefit your argument. Thats obvious. -
hoops23thedynasty1998;782528 wrote:You are stretching. And there's no need to support hoops23's false claims. It was NEVER a reality. Just as Westbrook isn't a reality.
I proved my point.
LOL, WTF point did you prove? Again, you're so damn naive you don't even comprehend what we're saying. It was a RUMOR that was DISCUSSED. Nothing more, nothing less. The fact is, the Cavs DID inquire. That's all ANYBODY EVER said.
You didn't prove any point except that you're an idiot who thread shits.
False claims? It looks like my claims were backed up. Nice back tracking though.
As for Westbrook, people are talking about him. Again, it doesn't mean they think he's going to be a Cavalier... -
thedynasty1998hoops23;782525 wrote:Wait, so you don't think the Cavs called and said "Hey, this is what we got, what do you think?".. Or "Hey, this is what we can offer for CP3, is he available?"...
Because I do remember something about Mo/Andy/JJ/draft pick for Emeka/CP3 floating around.. Again though, that's the fun part about the trade deadline is discussing "what ifs" and rumors...
You're just being douchey as usual, dynasty, so it's nothing new.
Dude you are proven wrong. No offer was made so it's not a fact like you claimed. Just be better informed next time you claim something as factual. -

No, you were proven wrong. I said the Cavs INQUIRED (and I even provided the definition for you) about CP3 and that was proven as a fact.
Next time, comprehend what people are saying better. -

You stated it to be factual. It's not. You told me to do a google search and I did. Nothing came back.
Some dude with a microphone throwing out names doesn't mean it's worth discussing. I have friends who make shit up all the time but I know not to repeat their idiocy. -

Dude it's too easy. At least edit your post. -
KR1245Didnt Jeff Bowers get fired because he was reportedly talking about CP3?
New Orleans Hornets GM Jeff Bower declines to squash Chris Paul trade rumors
http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ssf/2010/06/new_orleans_hornets_gm_jeff_bo_2.htmlAre you actively considering trading Paul?
“We have discussions with every team about every player and topic, ” Bower said. “Our job is to be aware of the interest of every player in this league. Not only other players, but our own. Again, we have a high opinion of Chris and what he does for our team.”
http://www.sportsnola.com/sports/sports-blogs/ed-daniels/434084-bower-paid-price-in-new-orleans-for-reaction-to-chris-paul-problem.htmlIf you ever wanted to know how important Chris Paul is to the ownership of the New Orleans Hornets, you got the message Tuesday.
Hornets general manager Jeff Bower, the man who would never say 'we aren't trading Chris Paul', was shown the door for not saying it.
Usually GMs are the ones responsible for making trades. If the guy was fired for failing to squash the rumors than chances are he has fielding calls regarding Paul. You can follow both the links, they say the same thing. -

If it's not worth discussing, why do you keep posting about it?
Just fucking drop it. -
hoops23Wait, IT WAS FACTUAL. The article PROVED that they DID INQUIRE about CP3... How do you not see this?
Windhorst is not going to write an article headlining CP3 unless the Cavs inquired or offered for him.
My point was proven, now you're making shit up and hoping that it sticks.
I'm done arguing with you because your comprehension is terrible and you keep coming back with lame things like message board cred.
Go thread shit the Browns thread if you haven't done so already. -

Wow, again do you think the Cavs didn't offer anything when they called? Come on, are you seriously this dumb?
And this is my last response, promise. -

I wasn't defending you?? I was showing you the Cavs did in fact inquire about CP3, when you stated it's not factual. lol wow. SMH at Ashland Comm boy. -

Already been done, but I am sure he will do it again. -

I actually like the Browns so I wouldn't do that (other than to say I'm not sold on McCoy). -

I figured as much, but I haven't visited the Browns thread in a while.. -
KR1245Dynasty, c'mon man. Do you honestly think the Cavs called the Hornets in regards to CP3 just to have a chat? I know you dont believe that

What is this offer that you speak of? You claimed it to be factual so certainly you know the offer. -

Absolutely I do. I would imagine they asked about David West and anyone else that might have been available. This is the year the Cavs wanted to make a move to sell Lebron or build for the future. I would hope they called every team to inquire about who may have been available. -

Prove it you liar. -
JesterI usually try not to get into shit like this, but dynasty, you look like a douche right now.

Ok. I'm confused. So you think that the Cavs called and made an offer? -
KR1245Dude. The Hornets GM was fired because he wouldnt squash the CP3 trade rumors. Do you really think that he wasnt taking calls about trading him? Windhorst already stated that the Cavs called to ask about CP3.

Please don't ruin his internet cred, it's all he has.
Thanks. -
thedynasty1998KR1245;782589 wrote:Ok. I'm confused. So you think that the Cavs called and made an offer?
I'm sure the Cavs called every team and inquired about anyone that wouldnhave improved the team. Windhorst said that NO said Paul wasn't available. They probably then asked about other available players.
I started this discussion saying it was never a reality and then hoops said it was factual that the Cavs made an offer and even went as far as told me to do a google search. It isn't factual and the most relevant article we can find is a Q and A with a beat writer.
