    No, you were proven wrong. I said the Cavs INQUIRED (and I even provided the definition for you) about CP3 and that was proven as a fact.

    Usually GMs are the ones responsible for making trades. If the guy was fired for failing to squash the rumors than chances are he has fielding calls regarding Paul. You can follow both the links, they say the same thing.

    Absolutely I do. I would imagine they asked about David West and anyone else that might have been available. This is the year the Cavs wanted to make a move to sell Lebron or build for the future. I would hope they called every team to inquire about who may have been available.

    Dude. The Hornets GM was fired because he wouldnt squash the CP3 trade rumors. Do you really think that he wasnt taking calls about trading him? Windhorst already stated that the Cavs called to ask about CP3.

    I started this discussion saying it was never a reality and then hoops said it was factual that the Cavs made an offer and even went as far as told me to do a google search. It isn't factual and the most relevant article we can find is a Q and A with a beat writer.
