1st person almost exclusively... occasionally 3rd for fun / always on horse (forced right?)hoops23;1040609 wrote:Do you guys play in 1st person or 3rd person? -
I Wear Pants1st person.
-
Commander of AwesomeMajority of the time in first. If I'm roaming the countryside/walking places I got 3rd and sometimes in town/covos in 3rd.
-
Hb31187I play in 3rd person usually
-
hoops23I usually play in 3rd as well. Just like seeing what's going on around me I guess.

Same. Don't really like the feel of 1st person for this type of game. -

Got my smithing up to 100 and enchanting in the low 80's last night.
Went around collecting some dragon bones and scales (I was previously selling them immediately because of the heavy weight, not realizing they would eventually become useful).
Knocked out 3 dragons randomly in about 20 minutes, was really lucky just randomly finding them.
I need some daedra hearts, too...Had no idea where to look last night and was getting too late to look it up and get sucked in for more hours....Now I know where to go tonight... -
gorocks99Just went up and harvested some daedra hearts myself yesterday. FYI, if I'm thinking of the same place as you: [sp]Shrine to Mehrunes Dagon[/sp]: if you go inside you can get some ebony ingots and an additional heart or two as well (although I've been having great luck with Warmongers having the ingots in stock lately).

Hb31187Just unlocked the ability to craft Ebony armor/weapons. Is it worth it to try out?
-
ohiobucks1I used ebony armor until I was level 55...worked for me (keep in mind I used heavy armor)
-
gorocks99
I mean, it's probably worth it, although you're pretty close to Daedric at that point. What are you using now?Hb31187;1041347 wrote:Just unlocked the ability to craft Ebony armor/weapons. Is it worth it to try out? -
HereticRight now, for me, I use Orcish armor because I haven't gotten the Ebony perk yet, so I can improve Orcish more than Ebony and it's still a little bit more practical.
Except that I can improve it another step now, don't have any Oricalium (sp) ingots to do so and have no fucking idea where I can get them (other than some armorer...maybe the one in Whiterun). -

Enchanted elven armor to restore my magika quicker. I probably shouldnt even be using armor as a mage/wizard or whatever u call it since i use magic . I'm a complete and total noob at this game/series and really dunno what to do in terms of armor lolgorocks99;1041352 wrote:I mean, it's probably worth it, although you're pretty close to Daedric at that point. I'm the same way. I'm going to make a second character eventually once of learn the game -
Fly4FunGo do the quests from the Mage's College. You'll get some great gear that you'll wear until you craft your dragon stuff and double enchant it.
-
hasbeenWent to the shrine of azura. The moon is sick
-
2quik4uTo save perks I would only go into elven armor like I said earlier once u hit the armor cap there is no difference between heavy and light armor except u get all the benefits of light armor
For those that decide to use heavy armor daedric is better then dragon so it is a waste to invest a perk into dragon -

robes are better to use at first but once u get ur enchanting all the way up u can enchant ur armor to save 100% magic when casting a spell so u can continue casting without losing any magic -

Thats not the case if you improve the armor to the max.2quik4u;1041444 wrote:

Hb31187Got my smithing up to 100.
Ive heard on here that enchanting is the way to go with armor and with weapons, but im so fucking lost when it comes to that concept.(like i said, ima noob) -
Hb31187I need a way to either
A. Get a high damage 1 handed weapon
or
B. Get a robe that restores my magic quickly and boosts destruction spells -
hoops23
You can find destruction robes by looting around...Hb31187;1044534 wrote:I need a way to either

There's some very early in the game that reduce Destruction spells by about 12% and regenerates magika 50% quicker,
Here's a list of stuff...

Just scroll down to robes
You can search weapons and everything else from there as well. -
Commander of AwesomeFinally did the Daedric Star mission last night and chose to go Black Star route. Hope I chose the correct path, which one did you guys go with? Haven't applied it to a weapon yet. Also finally got around to finding ther blades place, through Auldin's Wall. I've been holding off on doing it so I'd have the two followers but I'm near maxed out character and found them to be in the way more than I like having them around. Plus they really cramped my upgrade sneaking campaign.
