RotinajA couple days ago i did the same thing(knocked out some misc quests). Was down 2 like 8 and now im back up 2 about 20. They just dont end lol. Just got done doing part of the main quest where i learn dragonrend and damn that dwemer(sp?) place sucked ass. So damn long. getting 2 blackreach was amazing though, so much shit down there you can sell. I also wasted like 20 picks opening my first master lock. So very frustrating.

I finally got the third piece of the Gaulder amulet a couple nights ago (had to trigger a mage quest to unlock its dungeon, apparently). Now I just have to reforge it, but it does seem like a killer amulet.Commander of Awesome;1038181 wrote:I spent a couple of hours last night by just doing Misc quest. I think I completed about 7 or 8 and still have at least 15 or so to do. I did the forbidden legend quest last night which was a lot longer than I thought it would be. The Gauldur Amulet you get for completing it is pretty awesome. It increases your health, magicka and stamina by 30 pt and doubt I'll ever be taking this off/find something better.
Unlike Oblivion, apparently you don't have to worry about casualties with the Thieves Guild this time. I had fun in Goldenglow Estate, butchering mercenaries. -
I Wear PantsI'm about to kill Alduin.

gorocks99Give him sweetrolls before you do.
-
Commander of AwesomeI'm already on the last mission for the Dark Brotherhood. Seemed short to me.
-
hoops23My 2nd go around I'm doing the companion missions much earlier. The werewolf power will be a welcomed edition before I get too deep into other missions/quests.
-
Commander of AwesomeYeah good point, I did the companion missions so late that I was too high of a level. Almost never use it.

McFly1955Got my smithing up to 90 last night and enchanting up to 70, and did a long ass Dwemer Ruins quest (return the Lexicon).
I can't believe after 60 hours of gameplay and almost 2 months, I still can stay up late playing this game with no problem, and then want to play again the next day. This game is officially the GOAT. -
Commander of Awesomelol 60 hours lol

Returning the Lexicon was a cool quest with all the ghostly flashbacks. Except for the one part where they start going through a door and one person's like "WATCH OUT!" and then I went through the door and got slaughtered by the spinning blade trap that took out the ghost expedition's leader.McFly1955;1039792 wrote:Got my smithing up to 90 last night and enchanting up to 70, and did a long ass Dwemer Ruins quest (return the Lexicon).

Yeah. I'm at like 120-130. And still have to do most of the dark bro'hood, thieves guild, college of winterhold and main quest and all of the civil war to do. Walking around the world doing random stuff adds up after a while.Commander of Awesome;1039795 wrote:lol 60 hours lol -

Agreed..I've just been in Dwemer Ruins so much lately.Heretic;1039796 wrote:Returning the Lexicon was a cool quest with all the ghostly flashbacks. As for the damn spinning blade...I did the exact same thing and hadn't saved for like 5 min and had to blow through again to get back to the same spot...Carefully jumped the spinning blade, and there was nothing worthwile in the room...WTF. -

I know, I know --- but I seriously was playing games like 2-3 hours per week up until Skyrim since having our daughter last year....So I've gone from like 10 hours a month to 30 apparently.Commander of Awesome;1039795 wrote:lol 60 hours lol -

I did that mission as a low level and it was tough esp for being so long. I was saving every 20 sec it seemed and constantly getting pissed that I was having to drop a bunch of "good items" along the way. I told myself I would go back for the metal and other bits but never did. I think that was my first encounter with the Falmer as well. -

I'm at 110 as of last save yesterday. Like you I havent even touched the main story line, close to being done with Dark Brotherhood, half through the companions (still lol at that name), and barely touched the Theives or Mages quest line nor have I done anything related to the Civil War past choosing a side.Heretic;1039807 wrote:Yeah. Last I counted I had 27 open quests in the game. This game is ridiculous. -
hoops23I've been told not to do any of the civil war quests until I get the Dragon Call.
My friend told me unleashing a dragon in the middle of the civil war was pretty awesome. -
Fly4FunOkay, as previously said you should make Iron Daggers to 100 to level black smithing. And to level enchanting just enchant the daggers. But you specifically want to enchant the daggers with Banish."
Each dagger with banish can sell from 700-800 (actual price received from vendor). So it's easy cash and a guaranteed HUGE profit. Never run out of money that way. The main problem is trying to find enough vendors to unload all the daggers. -
Hb31187I was too all over the place with my first character and was only level 12 so I just restarted. This time with a Dark Elf, and I'm much better off overall. This game is VERY addicting and its the first of the Elder Scrolls games I've played, and im VERY impressed with it. Might be my favorite game in recent memory

2quik4uonce you get blacksmithing and enchanting over 100 you don't really need gold for anything
-

you can have a armor rating of 2500 with heavy armor and a armor rating of 800 with light armor and they are both the same because the armor rating cap is 567. If you are able to reach that cap there is no reason to use heavy armor. -
