How Much Trouble Is OSU and Tressel in Now?!

You are calling non-Tressel apologists the ignorant ones? -

Smith was mainly saying they couldn't discuss certain things because the NCAA is still investigating. (He was essentially pleading the 5th)
Well, I still believe its playing more of a part in this than what some believe. And it could in fact play huge in much of what went on, and why it was handled the way it was. The FEDS obviously knew OSU players were involved. But as I said, they don't give a shit. They had a job to do and didn't want it blown out of the water or they woudl have informed OSU. Thats one of the unknowns IMO. -

I'm calling anyone who has their fucking pea brain made up (like you obviously) ignorant. -
jordo212000There it is, I was waiting for ytown to get really emotional, drop some F bombs, and then insult somebody's intelligence. I mean, it's been par for the course so far in this thread. It's his "move"

What did I say that was speculation?? All I am saying is that under a similar circumstance, a client were to walk into any attorney's office and state he received some troubling correspondence about wrongdoing in their organization but was unsure what to do with it as he was concerned about breaching confidentiality, I am giving you my professional opinion that a prudent attorney would counsel his client on whether privilege applied in this situation. Furthermore, I am telling you a prudent attorney would tell this client he cannot sit on this, he needs to be complaint with the policies and procedures directed by the university and/or by the NCAA. -

+1. -
karen lotzLittle Danny, you don't happen to be a lawyer, do you?
-
jordo212000yeah I find it hard to believe that anybody can seriously believe that Tress would have been under fire with the the Feds. He wasn't the one leaking evidence. Somebody told him.
For the sake of argument though, let's pretend that that's a valid reason for him not saying anything in April. How do we rationalize him not telling Ohio State when they were doing their own investigation at the end of the year. -

It's always the same antagonistic asshats...wait for it all to come out before you go throwing your "ding dong the saint is dead" party -

We are talking about a FEDERAL INVESTIGATION. AS I said, they could give a shit about OSU, the NCAA or compliance. Think what you will, but even a lawyer would know not to fuck with the FEDS if they are investigating something. You put your own personal situation aside in a situation like that. Which is what Tress could have possibly been doing. -

He wasn't under fire until/when he opened his mouth and blew the feds case....why is that so effin hard to understand? -
jordo212000I hope that isn't directed at me ytown. I'm a Buckeye fan as well. I just refuse to drink the kool-aid in the situation. Something isn't kosher here.

karen lotzI'm not saying the saint is dead. I'm not calling for him to be fired or resign. I have said a few times I don't have any idea what the punishment will or should be. I did say when that first story about the huge football scandal being released a few weeks ago that I hoped that it wasn't OSU, Michigan, or Notre Dame that was involved. That was due it being a give posts like yours calling people fucking pea brained and ignorant would litter the OC.
Edit: forgot to throw in you calling people ass hats. -

You rationalize it by knowing if he told OSU, it would be out, thus messing/blowing up the federal investigation. Maybe his personal lawyer advised him not to go to OSU with the info. Thus, him saying he wasn't sure who to go to. Could also, for the sake of the argument, cover what he talked about in the presser about the safety of the players. Back in April, the mention of a Federal Drug Investigation, well, who knows how big that could have been. Thats not something you or anyone would take lightly if told. We aren't talking about the local police. We are talking about the a government. Just saying..... -

So when...exactly...did the feds case become finalized? Not a "resolution" as stated in the email...finalized? -
jordo212000Yeah, I mean I don't want Tress fired either haha. It makes me laugh that any time you are critical of somebody, you are automatically the "pea-brained" enemy of Ohio State and their fans.

irrational thought deserves irrational retorts -

I'd say that the Feds cover/confidentiality was blown when the tattoo fiasco became public knowledge. Tress could have come forward at that time, but didn't. -

So it is now irrational to criticize OSU or Tressel? That explains so much. -

Speculation...you don't have any idea and neither does anyone else on here. -

Yeah, it's only irrational because you don't share his opinion. I'm happy that somebody is actually feeling upbeat about our situation now. Frankly, I think we are about to get hammered. -
