Sounds like people jumped the gun protesting the cop shooting the teenager in Columbus yesterday.
Yeah, I waited for the video and seems like it was justified. Hard to say otherwise what the cop should have done when you clearly see the knife. Ideally, you want others there before it gets to that point to deescalate the situation, but when that cop rolled up to it, it was past the point of nonviolence. He literally rolled into a fight. He saved the woman from being stabbed is how it should be framed.
Reminds me of the recent shooting of the guy in Westerville at the hospital a few weeks ago. The cops fucked up in allowing the guy to get a gun into the hospital, but gave him every chance to get rid of it before they were forced to fire and kill him.

Watch the very beginning, when the suspect knocks the first girl to the sidewalk. The dude there puts the boot to that girl as the suspect goes after the other girl in the pink.
Officer shoots, then the dude starts lipping off.
She’s just a kid after he kicked a kid while she was down. I’m guessing he was one of the bystanders who rushed to Facebook/Twitter as well and push the narrative the cops killed an innocent black girl.
Meanwhile we have people doxing the officer and giving out his home address on Twitter and nothing happens to them

I feel like even after seeing the video people are still defending the girl and calling the cop a murderer. I’m currently getting attacked on fb for calling it a sad but legal shooting. If the movement is going to maintain credibility these shootings have to be looked at individually. Cops aren’t going to try to taze a person with a knife trying to stab someone even if you are the one who called them
People always have some dumbass question that shows they don’t know how guns work. “Why did the girl have to be shot four times? Why couldn’t they have shot her in the arm?” Just fucking stop with that already. Occasionally someone makes a bad decision and needs shot. Sorry it was a 16 year old and it was four times in the chest, but that’s what happens when you have a knife and you’re attacking other people.

The White House official statement pushing “police violence” and race angle. Fails to mention the officer saved another female from being stabbed/ possibly murdered. #unity

Who else cringed when Pelosi thanked George Floyd for sacrificing himself for justice?
I'm sure he didn't want to die. No one offered him up as a sacrifice, nor did he choose to be "sacrificed". Just seemed like a very awkward and somewhat insensitive political grandstand.
If it gets her in front of a camera, she'll say it. Few crave attention more.

Lebron James getting on social media posting "you're next" regarding the cop.
Don’t worry. He took it down because it was being used to fuel more hate.
They cleared the cop like 12+ hours ago. Can Lebron refresh the news before he tweets.

And what’s disappointing - but not surprising - is no one in the sports media or NBA will talk about it.

You know things are really going to shit when an athlete with millions of fans, worth nearly $1B, still has to virtue-signal.
Lebron is the same POS he's always been since the "I'm taking my talents to South Beach". Get your facts right before putting a target on someone.
Lebron's not a POS. He made a stupid post and then thought better of it and took it down. I'm sure everyone has done something similar. Granted as a famous athlete, he needs to think deeply about something before posting it.
To me, this is evidence of the "wait until tomorrow" rule. If it's a brilliant post, save a draft and wait until the morning to see if that holds true. I wish I always heeded that advice.

I wonder if Chris Evans feels the same way, he never did delete his tweet about the teenage in DC

I'm just saying if POS designation comes from stupid posts, most are going to qualify - myself included.

I get that. Everyone is a dogmatic hypocrite, just to what degree. Some are aware of such, some try to work on it, some think they are above it.

This isn’t a cringe email you need to talk yourself out of sending to your boss or ex-girlfriend. This is going on Twitter to your 50 million followers and basically calling for the guy’s head. And, if he tried just a little bit harder, he’d realize he was wrong anyways.
