MAGA is in a rock and a hard place. They cant exercise their rights at all without infiltration and violence from others that they are taking the blame for
This is "heads I win, tales you lose" logic. It's for dumbasses.

I’ve been enjoying reading about all the ass hats who took videos and selfies and then posted them up and how now they are very sorry they did that.

But you gotta admit, if you're going to go to jail for something stupid and brainless, you can't be more boss than that Viking. Or maybe it was the guy with his feet up on Pelosi' desk - definitely got his money's worth!

My guess is Pelosi ordered a new desk, chair, and carpeting.
Trumps done in a week but Democrats wanna waste time impeaching him. Not only is it wasting time it’s wasting money. If you want to unite the country move on and stop focusing on Trump. You won it time to stop making everything about Trump and make it about improving our country.

BLM has created their share of problems, but I really don't think that they infiltrated the group that stormed the Capital. How closely did you watch the news?

Democrats just beat him, if he runs again they could beat him again why impeach him?

Perhaps there should be consequences for lying about a free and fair election for two months, and then inciting a violent insurrection.

...but do dems have the balls to gin up another million illegal votes one more time around.......

Perhaps, but also perhaps there might be issues in this country more pressing than symbolically punishing someone who will be gone in a week.

You're a hook-line-and-sinker guy. If the dems were so clever as to orchestrate a massive voting fraud to the tune of a million votes and keep all the players from talking, why didn't they do it in 2016? Did they just happen to figure out how to do it these past four years?

Would they though? I think the main reason Trump lost was because of Covid. That, plus after 4 years of Biden/Kamala I'm not sure it would be a sure thing.
And for Repubs, it's hard to imagine Trump not getting the nomination in 2024. If they're smart, they'll find people like Romney and Murkowski who can safely vote for impeachment. Are there 15 more who won't be punished by their voters?

Our election was hijacked. There is no question. Congress has a duty to #ProtectOurDemocracy & #FollowTheFacts.

What does that have to do with Donald Trump lying for two months, losing about 60 court cases, and then inciting an insurrection where five people died?

In addition to not being able to run again, he loses his pension, secret service for life, and $1 million dollar annual travel budget that ex-presidents get.

You should know by now you’re not allowed to call out the violent acts and political rhetoric from the last 4 years. Especially not that the election was stolen. And especially that social media didn’t give a shit until now.

So now he’s wrong for filing legal court cases (kinda like democrats failed impeachment)
the 5 deaths is stupid when 1 died from a stroke and 1 from a heart attack... be honest with yourself how many people died during the BLM protests you supported... how many State Capital buildings were damaged and only left standing because of police protection.... how many police stations were burnt to the ground

Russia, Russia, Russia. By your logic, hat the Dems in DC are gonne

Where did I say he was wrong for filing court cases? By all means, file away. What happened with said cases? Where was the actual evidence or proof of widespread election fraud? Why did even Trump appointed judges rule against him? He is wrong for continuing to lie about a stolen election, he was wrong for trying to get officials in GA to "find votes", he was wrong for trying to pressure Mike Pence into invalidating the votes of 81 million Americans, and he was wrong to incite an insurrection.
Please let me know when I ever condoned rioting, killing or injuring people, damaging capitol buildings, or burning police stations.

Did you listen to his speech that day? Did you also listen to the other people that day? Trump lit the fuse.
This thread is hilarious now.
By the letter of the law, Trump committed impeachable acts not only by his words, but also by his complete lack of any leadership during the events of last week.
That said, I'm not sure practically it makes much sense now as it will now take up more time in the Senate. The Senate should be focused on getting new cabinet officials confirmed.
I would also like to know what exactly Republicans are talking about with this unity talk. They have not offered any actions of unity whatsoever. Takes both parties to come together.
I'll also add the Ds were guilty of the same most of the time the last 4 years. It just seems funny to use the unity card now by Republicans.

The speech where he told people not to be violent?
