Too many assumptions.

Antibodies mean what exactly? That's the golden question.

Post covid......we will always live with people wearing masks.  Hopefully my grocery store will keep the cart handle cleaning kid employed.

We went to Lowe's a couple weeks ago and it was probably 90/10 wearing masks. Last night it was closer to 50/50.

Last went to a Lowes about a month ago, in a rural area, and mybe 10% had them on.

My area, it is actually rare to see someone wearing a mask.  Extremely rare.  Many employees at businesses have went to not wearing, or wearing it below their mouth.

Raedy for the monumental spike in the Rona in 2 weeks?  If what Dr. Doom and the Supreme Leader said is true, we should be crippled with the virus in the next two weeks with all of these mass gatherings.

I expect, if this was was they claimed it to be, the country to be back to square one by 1 July and back to a complete lockdown with so many new cases and deaths.

Not a chance in hell another widespread lockdown happens, but possibly in areas that spike.

Has anyone done any indoor dining since the ban in Ohio was lifted? We've dined inside once, outside 3 or 4 times, and sat outside for just a beer a couple times.

I will say, it's not easy to understand soft-spoken servers when they're wearing a mask.

My husband is back at work, but I'm but I'm not sure for how long. His courthouse is not requiring masks, and his boss is not thrilled about it. There is a meeting today, and depending in how it goes, he may be doing Zoom hearings for a while.

We have not dined out yet. Closest thing to a leisurely activity has been getting ice cream to go at Cold Stone.

I started a new job last week. I am still based in Maryland, but it will allow me to work remote so I can move back to Columbus later this year. I have had to head into the office to start. It is a construction company and they are deemed essential in MD and DC. They are pretty strict on taking precautions. They have temperature checks to all employees every day. Masks are required by people in the office and there is hand sanitizing stations throughout the office. Common areas like the kitchen are limited to one person in and out and washing of hands is required.

Maryland is slowly starting to open up, like Ohio. They are not allowing indoor yet, just outdoor in spots. I still curbside and take out to local places a few times per week.

I dined indoor once. It was not an enjoyable experience. I won't be doing it again for some time. I agree that it is not easy to understand servers where masks. It makes me wonder how they will do school with everyone wearing masks.

I may have dined in Ohio once since the opening. Haven't dined in Kentucky yet, just had one quick beer at the bar when it opened.

I am not restricting myself from dining out due to anything other than funds. We didn't normally dine out anyway before everything. It's not cheap to take a family of myself, wife, and three kids out to eat.

Will be flying for the first time since everything happened though. June 13 flight to South Dakota for a camp. I think a layover in Dallas (maybe). Flying back the following week, going through Charlotte (maybe).

Once.
Last night.

The only reason was because it was a place a buddy of mine opened as the 2 soft openings he was going to have for friends and  such was cancelled do to the state wide grounding.

He was open for 3-4 days before the shutdown happened so that really sucked, but he said it afforded him time to work through some of the bugs after the initial first few days.

My uncle is opening a brewery in middle of June. Unfortunately I can't be there for the opening as I'll be in South Dakota.

Bummed I can't be there, but the trip is worth it ($$$). I'm sure I'll be out to eat there.

I will be in the back of the line...just want to see how the front of the line handles it

That is without saying.

They will use it on the important people first.

Or...you may be first if they want to use you as a test study....

Yes.  The employees can’t stand the masks; I don’t blame them.  They don’t need one to serve me.

We've received notices from a couple of casinos we frequent that they will be reopening this Friday 6/5 (Mountaineer/Newell, WV) and Tuesday 6/9 (The Meadows/Washington, PA). Will be interesting to see how they handle this.

Mountaineer will supposedly be testing, having limited hours (10am-2am) and only allow 50% occupancy. Meanwhile, The Meadows continues to advertise outdoor concerts at their pavilion as soon as 2.5-3 weeks away. We like to gamble but I have no intention of returning for a while. I don't even plan on returning to my office until at least 6/15, taking a "wait and see" approach as to whether we get spikes due to things reopening.

I figured casinos wouldn't be opening for a while and have heard Ohio casinos are probably way off because of Dewine hating them.

Not sure exactly what this is from, but it looks like an early covid related incident. I got a good laugh from it.

The funniest part is the two cops that start to give chase, take about 5 steps and are just like "awwww, fuck it".
