Have you ever had the flu? Or been to a nursing home? Or drove by one? If so then you don’t have corona virus you just have the flu and luckily for you it has a 0.00046 percent death rate when you factor out the people who drive by nursing homes and you probably just have the flu anyways because 85% of people who test possible for COVID basically just have the flu. It's not a huge deal to me, weird that people are getting off on it and making it political. I expect to wear a mask when I'm in the grocery store or confined public spaces for a while. Also when flying.

Not saying everyone needs to, obviously depends on location and their own personal feelings. 

If a business demands it for entry and you don't want to abide...feel free to go elsewhere.

As I recall, one of the significant differences is that the flu mortalities are mostly young children with underdeveloped immune systems, so it might not be that different, but your point still stands: Removing the most vulnerable segment skews the actual numbers, and since so many people don't show symptoms, it'd be pretty easy for some "nobody-tells-me-how-to-live-my-life" blowhard to get it and pass it to others because he was too much of a tantrum-throwing child to cover his mouth and nose.  Those others may have higher risks, or they may have to interact with people of higher risk.

It's really not that complicated.  Maybe a guy likes his odds of not experiencing symptoms.  That's fine.  But what does he think the odds are of passing it to someone else ... who passes it to his Gammies at Sunday dinner, and she gets sick?

Damn.....China made a good one with this.  Highly contagious, only killed old people and fades out just in time. 

I know this has been mentioned but all it took was this George Floyd incident and "poof" social distancing and the Coronavirus suddenly is suddenly disappearing or at least on the back burner.

One side note that may not be mentioned.......any second wave, third wave.......they will look real good with all the herd immunity they let happen.  I bet a larger % of their population has antibodies built up and in the future will be well off.
