Seems like the counties are leaving it up to the governor. The Gov said he's leaving it up to the counties. Mine isn't even in the red so who knows.

Kay Ivey, governor of Alabama - or we call he MeeMaw - is the best governor in terms of Covid. No mandates, not going to be any, get vaccinated, if you don't want to get vaccinated, youre dense, but that's on you. I love her.

Oh the irony, if you looked at the actual numbers in the video over the scroll...

229 new cases from 110,000 tests. That's 0.2% (actually 0.2%, not Spock's 0.2%) possitive test rate which is BASICALLY zero yet they are going door to door.

No way any actual "conservative" would be "ok" with this.

The CDC study on viral load being the same was supposedly based on a vaccine that isn’t even approved for America. I don’t think SC will be implementing mask mandates anytime soon.

That said, there have definitely been more masks at the grocery stores.

MeeMaw may not be your flavor, but I love her in comparison to DeWine and other Mandate Maniacs.

Sindh is a province in Pakistan with a population of 48m. They appear to want to shut off telecom services to the unvaccinated.

People living in Pakistan are fucked for reasons much worse than this.  This is the least of their concerns.  Religion of Peace rules are in effect for everything.

What a shit show that press conference was for Biden. It only took him less than 3 months to go back on his word in the name of “evolving science.”

As predicted by myself and others when this first started, there is more goal post moving (shout out to boogie’s favorite phrase) 18 months later.  A lot of dumbasses (including some posters here) continue to fall for it.

Guise, if we just keep listening to them and remain disciplined for (insert number) months this will be all over!!!

I’ll keep repeating myself, if you are for any covid restrictions at this point, you can go fuck yourself.  The vaccine is available for anybody. Make your own personal life decisions, stfu, and mind your own business when it comes to everyone else’s lives.

Better pipe down, those who want to control you and those who applaud those who want to control you are listening.

Mike DeWine also sucks, this is true.

On one or two issues, but far, far, far better than alternatives of the left-wing style.

His most impactful actions as governor are handling COVID.  He has sucked at that.  He's virtually no better than Dr. Fauci.  I know he's a complicated one for your being that your "anti-swamp" and DeWine is as swamp as it gets, but come on.  The guy's been a terrible governor.  Weak, weak leadership.

If he doesn't face a strong primary challenge then the Ohio GOP is absolutely worthless. Get Warren Davidson on the ballot and I'll vote for him. I'd even put a stupid sign in my yard.

Among the highly beneficial accomplishments:

Return of tens of billions of dollars in workers comp funds to Ohio employers; whereas a dem governor would have rewarded ambulance chasing plaintiff attorneys

Championed significant tax reductions; whereas a dem governor would have raised taxes

Kept the regulators at bay, vastly improving the Ohio business climate - we are near the top in site selection currently; whereas a dem governor would have let the regulators run amok raising the cost of doing business in Ohio significantly

Championed fracking and oil/gas development in the energy sector with its hundreds of thousands of jobs Ohioans rely on; whereas a dem governor would/could have shut down the sector

Ended the federal unemployment giveaways early, to help employers be able to hire workers

These are just a few of the many policy positions that have greatly helped Ohio, and quietly benefit Ohioans every day.  Yes, you can get pissed about the covid stuff (although every neighboring state was basically in the same bucket), but destroying all the excellent policies and results because you're mad about one issue is certainly not a smart move.  Get a dem governor and you'll find out in a hurry.

Interesting how you rail against career politicians like it's gospel, but give a pass to one because you happen to agree with his personal positions. Not much of a tenet.

I think you could sum up his position on this or any other politician by simply looking at the letter next to their name and then doing a quick Google search to bring up a couple policy things to support the general "R=Good; D=Bad" premise.
