Well, did ya see the latest news?  I suppose it's entirely plausible for whatever reason, Hannity having ties to two other Trump-connected lawyers.

"A cease-and-desist letter signed by two lawyers for Hannity: Victoria Toensing and Jay Alan Sekulow."

Hannity quote - "mostly over real estate"

You're right.  I'm sure it's nothing.

I don't care about Hannity. I will never care about Hannity until or unless he pulls a Bill Ayers.

So can someone tell and justify at the same time why this is even news???

Hannity is TV entertainment for people too stupid to actually follow news. Anything that crushes him is a boon for THE PEOPLE.

Tell us how her loyalty and support to Clinton is assisting with her impartiality in the Cohen seizures.

I agree it was a poor choice for Wood not to recuse herself. Judges are held to the standard that they should recuse themselves even in situations where there is even the appearance of impropriety. In my mind the prudent judge in her circumstances would have foreseen all of the conspiracy-mongering and claims that her past would have made her biased and let the decision fall to another judge.

LOL. I love it. You know that is impossible to prove as most of the documents in the case are redacted.

Man, your hatred for Clinton knows no bounds.

I'm reserving judgment, but I do trust the judicial process to play out.

It is hard to get a warrant for a lawyer's papers. If there was probable cause sufficient for her to grant the warrant another judge would have easily allowed it as well. She should have recused herself under the circumstances. Her failing to do so has eroded the public's confidence in the legal profession and the judiciary.

That has been a consistent problem throughout this whole thing - even where there is no corruption - many special agents, prosecutors, judges and other professionals have failed to adhere high standards of conduct to ensure that there is not even the remote appearance of corruption - and that is bad for our political union.

Prosecutors and law enforcement personnel that I know have stepped away from cases for a lot less.

This is likely to be another of those great ideas poorly executed.

But in all honesty, these regulatory bodies have expropriated authority from Congress.  One could argue that is out of necessity for a Congress that has struggled to do much the past 8-10 years.  But it's been one of the bigger conduits for executive overreach.  Regulatory actions from Congress have to at least pass some economic tests (even if the methodology can be dubious).  Not the case for a staffer cranking out new rules under the purview of the Executive Branch's duty of enforcement.

Because there's nothing quite like a well-intentioned do-gooder trying to justify their existence as a career staffer....with limited oversight of their activities.

It is really amazing to listen to all of the Trump supporters bob and weave their way around Stormy Daniels' allegations.  For instance, I read this morning that most Trump supporters believe he had this affair, including the evangelical wing.  This group largely has justified their support along the line of "we're all sinners".  That is remarkable considering their take on Clinton / Lewinsky.

I personally could care less about Trump having a go at Stormy 10 years ago. I'm not his wife, so it doesn't concern me.  I don't factor it into my opinion's about his leadership.  But the Christian right has always put character front and center when engaging in political debate.  It is unbelievable to watch these voters and pundits work their words into support for this man.

It's not hard to figure out. Trump is not a democrat, is pro-life, and appointed a conservative to the SCOTUS. Most importantly. he was not Hillary, and as far as they are concerned, is not cheating now, so water under the bridge.

I only care about the story if it means campaign funds were used for the hush money. Outside of that, it is a tabloid story.

They have thrown everything at the guy, LITERALLY EVERYTHING, and he is still standing.  From the rabid media to the highest levels of the swamp, it has all been incessantly piled on, day after day after day ......  At some point, most people start to side with the person who can take the non-stop beating while continuing to do the real work to help the real Americans out there.

I agree with this, if it was Trump's own money that went, then its stupid to even be brought up since the affair was year's ago before he was in office.

If campaign money was used, then that is a different story.

How do you feel about campaign money being laundered through different hands to pay for a dossier that is 100% falsehoods, but used anyhow by biased federal bureaucrats to spy on real Americans for the purpose of tilting a presidential election?

We don't know if it is false. I reserve judgement on all of that as well. I'm pretty open to the whole investigation. I trust the process to play out and eventually we will get answers.

Oh so those laws should be followed?  HC, Comey, and many others have broke dozens of federal laws in the past few years on the trump witch hunt, the Bernie Sanders crap and other things.

Do you care about those laws?

Steel company planning $1.6B plant

Big River Steel is planning to build a $1.6 billion steel mill, and the two sites being considered are at the Port of Brownsville in Texas and at an existing facility in Arkansas. The project would employ 1,500 construction workers.

You may want to settle down and go teach kick ball.

I railed against the DNC breaking laws rigging the election against Sanders, and I thought Sanders was by far the worst of the 3 policy wise (even if he was the least despicable person of the 3).

"Character" is less an attribute and more a buzzword when it comes to politics, where you blast the other side for their lack of it, while ignoring your own deficiencies in hopes that people will find your ranting more convincing than their ranting when it comes to the ballot. Besides, you're talking about the Christian right — the masters of turning "character" into a meaningless buzzword with no purpose other than firing up the flock.

Even the part where Hillary and the DNC laundered money to Russian spies to manufacture kompromat?  Isn't that evidence of actual Russian collusion?

Seeing on Twitter that NK is releasing US detainees. I've googled it but only see articles from NY Post and Newsweek. Nothing from CNN, FOX, NBC or anything.

If I post about how the Christian right assuages Trump's character issues, I think people will automatically assume I believe Trump's sexual history should be a factor in considering him.  That's not the case, so the "what about Bill Clinton" or other counterarguments are not valid.
