Also, I must misunderstand what you're meaning when you say, "The executive can tell the judicial to pound sand and they can do nothing about it."  Were that true, the relationship between the two would not be that of co-equals.  It would be that of a hierarchy, with the Executive Branch being above the Judiciary Branch.  Unless you mean something different than how I'm reading that, which is certainly possible.  It is late.

Yes you misunderstand but its not cause its late.  It is not possible to make a point in full context in just a few sentences.

Can the Judicial order federal law enforcement to arrest the POTUS and other members of the executive for what they perceive as noncompliance with their ruling? That is all I am saying.

Should the executive be forced to execute law it believes is direct violation of the Constitution?  Or not execute an order it believes it has the Constitutional authority to exercise?  The legislature has the Constitutional authority to remove members of other branches from office so they have the power to settle it.

But I am just making a point in futility because the leaders of all three branches mostly care about foisting their political will nationally.  They parse the Constitution to fit their agenda.  That said that piece of paper has been very effective in stifling the inevitable progression of government to trample the rights of the individual.

This would be an example of the Executive branch telling the Legislative branch to pound sand and the Legislative branch bitching in front of the cameras then promptly grabbing their mallets and commence pounding.  The Judicial branch is not able to weigh in because no dispute is brought before them.  This is one of the most brazen violations of the Constitution ever recorded and it stands today.

Threatening to activate 4000 national guardsmen to protect the country from rapists

Threatening to impose a 100 billion in further tariffs againt China

Accuses Amazon of bankrupting the USPS ( he is an expert in going bankrupt)

Dow off -733 at 23,733 down From 26,617  on January 26

Has no idea what his personal lawyer was doing when settling Stormy Gate

If this is winning, I sure as hell don't want to lose,

I guess QQ was correct. Trump is responsible for the economy

We also learned today, Trump gets his facts from old Huffington Post articles.

At this point in the Trump Administration, I think this quote from Dr. Strangelove fits perfectly

"Mr. President, I'm not saying we wouldn't get our hair mussed. But I do say no more than ten to twenty million killed, tops! Uh, depending on the breaks."

Didn’t John Kerry say that Obama’s Syria deal got all chemical weapons out? Appears that is not the case.

It's pretty damn apparent that Obama's foreign policy was a pile of shit.

Inb4 ptown still defends his foreign policy or tries to tell you that you are NOT ALLOWED to bring up Obama.

I will be fair though, at this point wtf do you do with Syria?  It's a poison pill (no pun intended) situation.

At this point, he really accomplished nothing other than Obamacare.  He truly was a lousy leader....spent the middle 4 years of his term trying to shame Republicans hoping to win back Congress rather than actually trying to work with them.

Syria, Iran and Cuba all seemed forced and rushed in a last ditch effort to have SOMETHING for his legacy.

Yeah, I concur. Obama's Syrian policy, and I said at the time, was shit. He waited too long to do anything and took the "easy" way out with the Russian plan for chemical weapons and the OPWC and verification.

I get it from his point of view, he did not want to pull the trigger and get us into another Middle Eastern conflict. But, this is essentially, his Rwanda. Like Clinton did nothing then, Obama did nothing for Syria.

It's a damn shame and most of the problems today could be traced back to that inaction. Iran, Russia, and Turkey are now making that place a fucking mess.

As for Trump, yeah, there are no good options. He got a shitty hand. I understand his view to try and pull out now that ISIS is nearly gone, but we cannot let Syria become a base for Iran and Russia. I'm not sure if that means backing the Kurds more, backing Turkey at all, supporting Israeli strikes more, letting Assad win, but saying he must kick out Iran, I don't know....

I'd agree he was pretty piss poor at working with Congress, but in his defense, they did not really want to work with him either. Rs were just as willing to wait Obama out as well. Neither side wanted to play ball, hence the fucked up years and Government shutdowns of the 2nd term.

Personally, I thought the whole government shutdown was pretty anticlimactic.  Granted, people not getting paid for work they're doing or have done can tug at the heart strings a little, but from a functional standpoint, it didn't seem that problematic.

Leaks/rumors that Obama would say one thing in the meeting, and then another publicly or move the goalposts after making a deal....even sometimes at odds with his own party.  Does that sound like another POTUS we know?

My personal opinion is that, in order to cash in, Obama was focused primarily on not being attached to bad policy...and the easiest way to do that is not to make policy.  And, for the most part, the liberal media was content to let him blame Republicans for his owned failed leadership.

Yeah, it was a total waste of time and ended up costing more money in the long run, according to GAO reports. It was dumb.

Same could be said for the Rs in Congress. They offered no real solutions that would have D support as well. They didn't want to be tied to any policy other than repealing everything the sitting President did. They also played to the Fox News base, just like Obama played to the left media base.

I know if a business I ever worked for had to be temporarily shut down for any reason, I wouldn't have been paid for that time.

Which ... would have saved the company money for that time.

Now, of course, if we're dealing with a for-profit company that generates revenue by being open, it certainly could harm the bottom line (depending on the profitability of the company during that time), but it's not like we're not going to still pay taxes for that time period.

How does it cost government more to not operate than it does to operate?

Officials broke ground for a $600 million Google data center in Jackson County, Ala

"Google said the data center in Bridgeport will be a hub for Internet traffic, fitting into a network that keeps the company’s search engine and its other internet-based products functioning around the clock. The project was formally announced in June 2015."

Oh it was announced when Obama was president. Well way to go Obama! Winning!

Apparently it took something more to make it a reality.

I like Quaker, but I assure you that you are wasting your time trying to explain something like this to him.  He is so politicized that nothing gets through.  Everything is black and white, and a Republican president is infallible.  No use debating with him.

The biggest farce has been Trump backs Russia. Now he is blowing up their ally. I don’t agree or disagree at this point, but the narrative is old.
