Vacation?  Informal meetings?

The man is revered as a god in his country.  He can pretty much do as he wishes, so long as it doesn't undermine that belief.

Secret meetings or is he really sick and seeking medical attention......there really is no other reasons

Him being sick seems plausible.  It's no secret that the guy takes horrible care of himself.  His lifestyle is bound to catch up to him sooner or later.

"The Commerce Department’s estimate “revises the government’s previous estimate for growth from October through December, which was 2.5 percent,” adding that “the jump to 2.9 percent growth was better than economists expected and means that the US economy grew at an average pace of 3.1 percent from April through December of last year.” Barclays Economist Pooja Sriram is quoted saying, “The message remains one of solid domestic activity in the fourth quarter, driven by household and business spending."

As well, scores of companies continue to announce $1,000 employee bonuses due directly to the tax reform legislation.

Citing Tax Reform Benefits, McDonald’s To Triple Tuition Assistance Funding.

The Hill (3/29, Delk) reports that McDonald’s said on Wednesday that “it will roughly triple its funding for its in-house college tuition assistance program, citing the GOP tax-reform bill passed last year as one of the reasons.” The company will “invest an additional $150 million and lower eligibility requirements into its Archways to Opportunity program, which will now provide higher education opportunities for 400,000 employees.”

NAM Survey Cited In Article Highlighting Benefits Of Tax Reform.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle (3/29, Defler, Subscription Publication) reports the because they are “encouraged by changes in tax laws, including new tax depreciation rules, manufacturers have a high level of optimism.” The Chronicle writes, “Almost 95 percent of 14,000 large and small manufacturers surveyed told the National Association of Manufacturers that they consider the outlook for their company positive,” which is “higher than at any point in the survey’s 20-year history.” Among the key benefits of tax reform is increased capital investment, and the article adds that “according to the survey, conducted in December as federal tax reform was concluding, almost 63 percent said comprehensive business tax reform would increase capital spending.”

I love the fact the govt is functioning just fine.  The economy is doing well.  So I think the unintentional point made by that story is that most of these appointments are, in fact, useless and unnecessary.  Can't imagine whoever woulda thunk that!

That, of course, begs a different question:

If an appointee doesn't really matter, why the hell does it exist?

I've assumed for a while most of those appointees probably don't do much or matter.  How could they - a new "boss" every 2-4 years, roughly, who generally has never been with that group and may have limited expertise at best.  And every 4-8 years these career staffer subordinates are going to alternate a conservate or liberal slant to how they do their job?  I think the idea is that the appointee provides oversight and makes sure things go smoothly, but I'd guess the reality is they really aren't capable/qualified to do either.

Which I think goes to illustrate how there's a massive, unelected, government with no real oversight...spending our money and controlling our lives.

I think the Trump response to the "accusations" leveled in that article is that they've appointed the positions that matter.  That probably really grates at the big gubmit liberals.
