That's good, I think the Bears will finish with 4-5 wins.

bad move, you will never be able to force, shame or coax everybody into having the same opinion as yourself. Pursuing this strategy will just get you a repeat of last years ugliness

nature of the beast, especially on a fan chat site.
    another battle you won't win.

wcalfan;1494429 wrote:You have no idea about what went on over here last year.
You got that one right. From the little I know it wasn't pretty...but that was last year, dragging up the past won't help the future.

wcalfan;1494429 wrote:Our so called "fans" were ruthless and had no class towards our coaching staff.
It happens all the time every year. Restarting the feud is pointless

wcalfan;1494429 wrote: I do appreciate your "insight" but please make sure you know the facts.
Facts are facts. Opinions are opinions. The line between them often gets blurred. Sometimes, one man's fact is anothers opinion and visa-versa

some do, some don't...all opinions anyway. The thing you shouldn't lose any sleep over are discussions on here. I wish you and the Bears well.

What was insane about that? It was actually particularly orderly and on-topic.
  • wcalfan
    Like I said....great work!

And you also said "Talk about insane babbling." Just wasn't sure how you arrived at that conclusion. That's all.

    Again....great work!

They were good in coverage, then had multiple times when a garaway receiver had no one within 20 yards of them, completely uncovered, allowing for long touchdowns - a little mystifying. Both teams made plenty of mistakes in this game, Dalton just made more of them. Burke was a little jumpy early at the qb spot, but settled in later in the game. Had a few very nice balls in this game. They have some real weapons in the passing game with 3 guys over 6-5 and some good speed with mann and ryder at slot and reciever. The o line concerns me a little as they didn't give a lot of holes in the run game. Dawgs are small up front outside of JD Murphy at center who is very good. I think this can be a 6-4 team if they cut down on the penalties, and get the coverage mistakes fixed.
    I agree:rolleyes:

Well a new slate of games with some tough opponents for the WCAL in most cases. Hillsdale, NW, Norwayne, Waynedale and Smithville all face playoff contenders in their games. I see the league going 3-2 or 2-3 with Norwayne and NW picking up sure wins. Hillsdale and Waynedale are toss-ups and I think Mogadore will run over the Smithies who will put up a better showing than last week.
Dalton has a decent opponent in a young Tuslaw team. Chipps play a weak Waterloo team who happens to be where their new coach is from. That should be entertaining. And Rittman plays Grove City Christian with their 20 kids. How much lower will this AD go to try and get a win for this team? This is a total embarrassment where winning the game does nothing for you or the league.

I almost spit my coffee out when I saw "Grove City Christian". Are they sure this isn't actually a soccer team they scheduled?

and he'll throw the ball 20 times to his kid. He isnt going to get his stats up playing teams like Norwayne, Northwestern and Hillsdale. Dennis doesn't care about building a team. All you have to do is ask most of the people from Rittman. They'll tell ya

    Or folks from Millersburg.

And week 3 sees Rittman playing Mapleton. You have to work hard to get non-league teams like this scheduled.
Reality hits week 4 when the Indians meet the Bobcats.
  • rrfan
non league schedule looks bad, but they are 0-1...
  • rrfan
Also, I am not sure what offense they run at Rittman, but when I played a million years ago at Orrville there was very very very few times where a pass play had to go to a certain WR. It was up to the QB. This may not be the case here and WR screens are a separate issue because it has to go there.
  • pdracer
Yes the non league schedule is easy, but that hasn't stopped Dennis from losing games. 3 WR and his boy has twice as many catches as the #2 guy, but only 3 more yards than him for the season. The kid has the lowest yards per carry yet we still see him get the ball more than anyone but the QB. Can't wait to read his tweets this week in regards to his mad skills and awesome stats.
  • Bobcat
    Dennis is Rittmans AD...isn't he?
  • Havin Fun
Not sure who the AD is in Rittman but whoever it is should be embarrassed. How do you keep a straight face printing a schedule with the Cleveland knights and Grove City Christian on it? Add in Conotton Valley, Akron North and Mapleton and you have a non-league schedule who's only wins the last couple years are against, Rittman.
