I can guarantee you that the entire Firelands Conference is hoping for a Delphos win. We are all tired of the arrogance of the St. Paul players and fans. Would love to see them go to a "more competetive" conference. If we aren't good enough for you, good riddance!!flyerfan64 wrote:
What I should have said is history does not determine the outcome of this game, unless all of the same actions and consequences take place, thus this game will be different and games that happened ten years ago are irrelevant to the outcome of this game. As for the teams that St. Paul played during the season not being as tough, I will give you that, but St. Paul isn't any less prepared, they practice the same for every team even if they are 0-10, that is one of the reasons why St. Paul is where they are, they never overlook anyone. Yep it sure does help prepare you...... and BEAT you up. Which I'm hoping is the case here with DSJ'sChiBears34 wrote:

HelmetbusterIt is good to be hated like that. It means you're kicking the crap out of somebody on a regular basis. I hope you were one of the "fans" that attended the regional finals or semis and cheered against SP. That's the only way you'll ever get to one of those games.

norwalkTo the Delphos fan who asked How do we know St. Paul is faster than Delphos? The same way you know Delphos is stronger than St. Paul, etc.
Honestly I don't know how fast Delphos is but I do know that St. Paul is as quick as team as I've seen in sometime.
It should be a great game between 2 of the top programs in the state. -
flyerfan64
that's a sad thing to say, as a former player and now a fan, i wish the best to the rest of the fc, just not when they are playing us. if somebody like crestview made it to the finals in d5 i would cheer for them, you should be proud that a team from your league made it. who ever said st.paul would be good forever, livengood is a great coach, be proud a team of this caliber is in your conferencestrap up wrote:

ChiBear - - You seem to have all the stats to support your argument, only 3 of the 4 runners that competed on that day were seniors and graduated. On the other hand 3 of the 4 Flyers were only Juniors and are on the football team and will play on Saturday. That is why one would say St. Paul is faster. Oh by the way Griffin was also 6th in the state in the long jump.ChiBears34 wrote:
How do you know they are faster. Delphos consistantly sends football players to state in track. You guys should know, you finished right behind the Jays in the 4x100 last year. -

Chibears, you had to take a cheap shot that actually argued for St. Paul. Didn't think that one through did you? Why don't you ask how other people know Delphos is stronger or faster than St. Paul? -
MessyDinosaur4 of the kids run at least a 4.5 one of those is a 4.44! Most of the linemen can run under a 5, and the other athletes on the team run under 4.7... Thats why I think SP is faster then Delphos

ladylibertywhat division one school's are all of these 4.4/4.5 forty guys going to. The Jackson boy from Ada is the fastest player I watched in division VI this year and he is a 4.55. Having seen St. Paul and St. John's i just can't see this being a close game. 24-7 is my prediction. Live in your dream world until tomorrow at 3:00.

It is not a dream world. St Paul is very capable of beating Delphos. I don't think too many people, if anyone, has come on here and said St. Paul is the better team. DSJ is the decided favorite and that is the way it should be. St Paul can win this game though, they have the weapons to do so. So calling that a "dream world" is just crass.ladyliberty wrote: what division one school's are all of these 4.4/4.5 forty guys going to. Strap - So now you are the official spokes person for the firelands conference. Is that a paid position? That is funny because we have a charter bus that has parents from Monroeville and South Central on it. So I guess your statement that the entire firelands conference is hoping the Flyers get beat isn't factual.strap up wrote:

Schweiterman may go to Cornell, I dont know about Griffin or Tracht. They likely won't go Division 1, I'm sure they would rather not try and go there either. And Justin Wilde, 4.44, is all but 5'6 so you tell me. ( I watched it be timed, its hanging in the weight room right under his brother Matt who posted a 4.39.) Live in your biased onesided world until tomorrow at 3:00. I firmly believe the Flyers can pull an upset. -
wesflyer87Game Day!!! Good luck to all & safe travels everyone.

RoyalNutI know most Wynford Royals fans and players are pulling for St. Paul. Finish it off boys!

ladyliberty4.39? Have you ever seen the numbers from the nfl scouting combine? I am sure they will have division I track scholarships as well.
-
ridgerunner88Looking good for St. Paul.
-
ridgerunner88What a game! What a drive! Congrats St. Paul, the better team won.
-
ladylibertynot sure the better team won the game. The flyers were very lucky on the fumble that was not called right after delphos scored to go up 21-10. With that being said they made every play from that point on and deserved to win the game.
-
RacerbuckOutstanding game!!! Congratulations Flyers, on your state championship!!!!!!

Special teams kept St. Johns in the game, yeah I know it's part of the game, but I'd hate to see a couple of long returns decide it. #8 is a beast. Hats off to all the participants for their substantial sacrifice for school and community.ladyliberty wrote: not sure the better team won the game. Tigerfan00Best game of the Finals by far, what a drive that last one was and some very big 3rd downs on that drive. Great Job Flyers, I know the people are partying in Norwalk right now.
