CatFan14Congrats to St. Paul! What an entertaining game and an amazing drive. Enjoy this victory. Wins over the MAC come few and far between, but are sweet when they come. You were undoubtedly the best team on Saturday.

ButkusCongratulations Flyers! 2009 D-6 CHAMPIONS. What a GREAT year. Coming into this fall, there was no question as to the potential this team had. The returning skill players for SP gave all Flyer fans a reason to be optimistic. The chemistry and TEAM spirit exibited by this senior class, IMO , was what was needed to put this group over the top. While everyone acknowledges the group of core skill players SP had this year, one would be remiss not to mention the TREMENDOUS job done up front by the Flyer O-line. Going into 2009 with in reality, 1 returning starter (Bundshuh, Hainline and Simon all shared the RG last year) Coach L may have done his best job ever at molding an offensive line. This unit undersized and for the most part inexperienced, not only held their own, but dominated all year long! Hats off to JP Pressley LT, Darren Hainline LG, Joel Boose C, Kyle Bundshuh RG and Alex Simon RT. The linemen do not get enough accolades, but anyone who knows the first thing about football knows everything begins up front! GREAT JOB O-LINE!
