To the extent that people said it about Watson? Maybe I’m misremembering but I don’t remember hearing it with rg3 to that extent.like_that;1884100 wrote:You weren’t paying attention then. -

There was a lot of talk about RGIII's maturity level, having come from a strict military upbringing, well grounded, etc. before the draft.like_that;1884103 wrote:Oh, I wasn’t talking about OC. AutomatikMust not have translated to the next level. i.e. bragging he could influence the coaching decision in year 2.

"Emmanuel Ogbah, Myles Garrett, Danny Shelton, and Larry Ogunjobi all have one thing in common: they routinely make plays that players of their stature shouldn't make. Building a dominant defensive line is usually the first step towards building a dominant defense. With these four guys still under their rookie contracts, the Browns will have a chance to build a terrifying defense before they have to break the bank on their young, talented, and productive defensive linemen. The Moneyball strategy is starting to take form, Browns fans (and media) just need to be patient."
Another point, Baker Mayfield's Passing Chart this season:
God damn, that is crazy. Kid can spin it, that's for sure. -

Is this considered a positive attribute?Automatik;1884092 wrote:...and the high praise from Dabo. -

I don’t think a coach praising their QB is a positive attribute. But Dabo didn’t just endorse him, he said those who don’t draft him are passing on michael Jordan. That’s pretty high praise and obviously the browns ignored that to be able to draft another left guard in the 2nd round.Verbal Kint;1884135 wrote:Is this considered a positive attribute? -

SportsAndLadyI'm bored, and went back to the offseason thread last year. Some good stuff in there.

"Today's trade was big win for Cleveland; its leverage for No. 2 pick went way up. Anyone who wants next QB now needs to pay up to Cleveland."
And the Browns should tell them to fuck directly off.
Yes, let's trade the pick to take a mid round DE instead of putting a top QB on our team to build for the future.
The franchise is desperate for a QB and this is why. They continue to fuck around with a top pick instead of focusing on QB's.
Case Keenum having a great 2017!Iliketurtles;1791776 wrote:What move by the Titans. I like it it a lot they could become very good in a couple of years if they hit on half of these picks. As for the Rams don't like it but they had to do something... rolling out Case Keenum as your starting QB in LA wouldn't have cut it lol.
Classy, lulz.Classyposter58;1791871 wrote:Goff is garbage. I'm sorry but go watch the Cal vs Utah game this year again, guy throws 5 picks in SLC. He's Jay Cutler at best
Right before Matt Ryan won the MVP and was this close to winning the SB, LOL his next post he said he'd rather have Jay Cutler than Matt Ryan.Azubuike24;1791905 wrote:If the QB the Browns draft is Matt Ryan, they won't ever win a thing. Matt Ryan is pretty bad now. -

Brady Quinn anyone?
Yeah..iclfan2;1812408 wrote:I'll agree he didn't look great. But his stats are better than Watson's vs Troy. Wins and losses don't have much say in a singe player's evaluation.
I mean what's your point really? There are two top guys as of now, and neither has done "great". Watson sure hasn't done anything yet to separate himself, and multiple professional evaluators like Kizer's size and talent. Kelly could fuck him if he try's playing 2 qbs again though.

We are falling victim to being a Browns fan where everything is a disaster. This is a brand new regime. What farmer/Pettine/holmgren/heckert/banner did with all those picks have no bearing on this team now.
I get it. We have needed a QB since 1999, but I'm just not desperate enough to give up a big trade like that for somebody like wentz or goff (especially wentz). This team also also has a shit ton of other needs. If we punt and get a top QB next year I won't QQ. -

BR1986FBAny thoughts/expectations for Gordon on Sunday? I can see Kizer throwing a couple of ill advised picks into tight coverage, trying to force the ball to Gordon too much, ala Brian Hoyer.

I really do think Gordon is that good, that he can take 3 years off and in his first game back go for 100+ -
BR1986FB
All reports I've heard from practice is that he looks "lights out" and in incredible shape. Has been catching one handed passes, etc like he hasn't missed a beat. The best part about this is that, with him on the field, it moves the other receivers to their rightful positions......Coleman to #2 and Britt to #3. Britt's should actually be "on the waiver wire" but I have no issue with him being a third option.SportsAndLady;1884187 wrote:6 catches, 131 yards

I do too, but we could also be delusional lol. He hasn't played a real game in over two years? Regardless, I have enough confidence that in my fantasy league (where I need a win to make the playoffs) I picked up Gordon and started him. High risk move, that I think will pay off.SportsAndLady;1884187 wrote:6 catches, 131 yards

I saw that, and this is a fucking disgrace. I am sure they are going to use Peppers' words against him too (Peppers owned up to the hit and didn't blame the refs if anyone needs a refresher) during his appeal. Peppers being a stand up/no excuse guy is going to cost him $24K. An expensive lesson for him to learn, but don't give Goodell anything next time that will indict him.BR1986FB;1884211 wrote:And Peppers gets fined 24k for that hit last Sunday. -
BR1986FB
Heard an interview with Peppers yesterday where he basically said "you're damned if you do, damned if you don't." If you hit high and connect helmet to helmet, it's a penalty and likely a fine. If you go low, you're looked at by your peers as a "dirty player." That's such a bang bang play where the player really can't adjust and target the one foot area that they are actually allowed to hit now.like_that;1884212 wrote:
