Oh I'm not saying dump him.like_that;1816058 wrote:I am not happy with Joe either, because he is not even close to what we are used to seeing out of him. He also isn't as bad as we are making out to be. All football teams (from HS to NFL) grade every player after every game. Typically the top graded guys are the best guys on the team. Over half the league uses PFF, im ok with taking their word for it. Joe's contract runs thru 2019. I am not a fan of dumping him when his stock is low, especially when we have absolutely nothing in the secondary outside of Joe. I am ok with riding out his contract over getting a low round pick for him.
I just don't think he is that good anymore. He's a very average db. -

Yeah I feel you. If he could just get healthy I think he would be fine. Sadly, it doesn't look like he can stay healthy anymore.SportsAndLady;1816061 wrote:Oh I'm not saying dump him.

I am just not a fan of creating holes. Thats all this team does, even after they find pieces. We had a pretty good line, and then just let half of it walk away out of pettiness. -
slingshot4everWhy the fuck do you go for 2 right there!!!!!

Down 15, you need a 2 at some point. Doesn't really matter which td you go for it on.slingshot4ever;1816076 wrote:Why the fuck do you go for 2 right there!!!!! -
wildcats20Going for 2 on THAT TD is dumb as hell. You miss it and the game is basically over, doesn't matter if you recover the onside kick. You have to kick it and attempt the 2 on the potential next TD.

Gardens35If SMH Moments were 6 points the Browns would be drafting last.

like_thatWay to go for 2 hue!

Laley23Going for 2 before you have to is so stupid. Extend game as long as you can. Makes ZERO sense why coaches still mess this up every week.

"Keeping it a one score game" is a stupid reason for not going for 2 there. Ok so you don't go for it and now you're "in it" and then not get the 2 with no time left? Makes no sense. The link above explains it better.

Yikes. I think one of them overlooks them and plays it into a close game.slingshot4ever;1816144 wrote:next two are against Dallas and Minnesota. That should be a couple more losses -

Bee saying that for years. GIve yourself a chance as long as possible. The coaches answer...."but the chart says you go for 2......'Laley23;1816088 wrote:Going for 2 before you have to is so stupid. Extend game as long as you can. Makes ZERO sense why coaches still mess this up every week. -
Benny The JetHonest question, is there any chance the Browns think Kessler is their QB moving into next year? We're at the mid-way point in the college season, and I don't see a clear #1 QB to me...definitely not someone I'd have to have at #1.
Let's pretend they like Kessler enough...does that make Cam Robinson their top target, because that line isn't going to keep a QB healthy ever. -

Trust me...I hope not too. But that seems like something they'd do. Is there a QB good enough right now you'd feel good about at #1? Or just hope they pick the best out of Kaya, Kizer, and Watson?like_that;1816202 wrote:I sure fucking hope not. -

If their scouting determines one of those guys is worth it then you do it. Easy decision. Also, if they hire a fucking consulting firm to help decide which QB to pick then actually listen to the firm.Benny The Jet;1816204 wrote:Trust me...I hope not too. SportsAndLadyIs the NFL draft tomorrow and no one told me?
Go back to last year on October 15th and see who the top QB prospects were. You can't look a year before the draft and say the draft is loaded or not loaded at a particular position. It just doesn't work that way. -
Benny The Jet
No, but at this point last year...most people knew there were about 3 decent QB's. Goff was a big name you heard from beginning of the year...then Lynch was the other name a lot of people were talking about, due to play and winning games at Memphis. I'd say Wentz name started popping up around this time last year, didn't it?SportsAndLady;1816207 wrote:Is the NFL draft tomorrow and no one told me?

Also, the original question was "Any chance the Browns move forward thinking Kessler is their man?" -

He sucks but I don't want either Kizer or Watson. Kizer is a loser and Watson will get exposed once he plays a real team.Benny The Jet;1816200 wrote:Honest question, is there any chance the Browns think Kessler is their QB moving into next year? I'm not sure the answer for QB. It's still early in CFB to get a good idea on who will be the top choice but if we draft another ND QB I might give up entirely on the Browns ever being a relevant football team.
