    I don't. Kessler is garbage.

I hope he's not dumb enough to want to do that. If you're a HC you salivate over the thought of having the top QB in a draft to get the franchise moving forward.

Kessler is serviceable in a down year but he has no future as a starting QB.

Here we go again with that shit lol

Crimson, you don't know how good the QBs in this draft class are going to be.

Everyone said this last class would be weak. And there appear to be some studs already.

Are you fucking retarded? You need a QB first and foremost. Until you get a guy back there who can play well consistently you wont be going anywhere so by all means....put it off another year. I hear the crop of HS seniors this year is pretty good that you can start targeting in the 2020 draft...

Getting way too cute again. If Benny didn't jinx it with the iggles and we had the 1st overall pick along with the 3rd overall pick then I would be ok with passing on QB with 1st overall.
Haha, yeah that was a swing-and-a-miss on my part it looks like. Now yes I absolutely think they should take a QB at number one, I'm so Jaded by this organization that I feel like it doesn't matter who they put back there, they are going to get injured regardless with that awful line we have

While we are at it, what the fuck is up with our training staff? How are all these guys getting fucking hurt?

    Draft a QB #1.

Try to find some good OL in free agency that are proven. Much easier getting a good OL in FA than a QB. You will need to overpay for the OL but shit you guys have a ton of cap space and with the rookie salary scale that top QB wont be a cap killer until his second deal.

My whole point is what if Kizer doesn't come out? Would you be more comfortable with Watson at #1 as opposed to Garrett? I'll take Garrett 10 out of 10 times

I want Watson over Kizer, so yes I would be more comfortable with it.

Dude it's October 14, 2016. No one knows who is going to be the top prospect. In my opinion, it is not going to be Kizer.
  • iclfan2
Kizer is still over Watson by a lot of scouts. Size matters. Still early though

Kayaa has more height and a stronger arm, but Watson is weapon and a winner.
  • Crimson streak
I'm just not high on Watson at all. He's not very good against pressure. I'd take kayaa and Kizer over Watson. All I'm saying is it would be extremely hard to not take Garrett. He has von miller impact potential.

I want nothing to do with Deshaun Watson

I was all for Watson before season started...but he has seemed to really regressed. I feel like there may be a QB sneak up on some boards still. I'm not a Kizer fan, and haven't seen enough of Kaya to form an opinion

I like QBs who, for the most part, can't look good because of great players around them. It's no surprise so many NFL QBs come from smaller schools where the O-Line and WRs aren't also NFL caliber. Top college programs rarely produce NFL QBs the way random smaller schools do, IMO. ND is a top program, but the talent level the last 2 years in the O-Line is not what it was in years past, and Kizer is still looking good and putting up numbers.

Watson looks like garbage versus a rush, it's just that he never deals with it cause Clemson is loaded.

This isnt an end all be all obviously, but it was the sole reason I was all in for Wentz.

Anyone else think Haden's days here will be coming to an end sooner than later? What's his contact situation? I know he got that extension a couple years ago...feel like we're paying him a lot of money to not play, and isn't good when he is on the field

He's actually one of the top rated defenders on the Browns defense.

That's like saying you're the smartest kid on the short bus...I don't care what ratings say...he's been burnt and can't cover much of anything anymore due to injuries

He and Richard Sherman are rated the same actually. Maybe the Seahawks should get rid of Sherman too.
  • Benny The Jet
That should tell you all you need to know about the ratings then. I mean, do you watch the games he actually plays in?
  • SportsAndLady
Yeah I'm with Benny on this one. Haden has been bad this year, despite what the rankings say. He gets burnt for a big gain nearly every game.

I am not happy with Joe either, because he is not even close to what we are used to seeing out of him. He also isn't as bad as we are making out to be. All football teams (from HS to NFL) grade every player after every game. Typically the top graded guys are the best guys on the team. Over half the league uses PFF, im ok with taking their word for it. Joe's contract runs thru 2019. I am not a fan of dumping him when his stock is low, especially when we have absolutely nothing in the secondary outside of Joe. I am ok with riding out his contract over getting a low round pick for him.
  • iclfan2
Taylor has actually been the best db this year and he was miami's garbage. Don't care what we do with Haden. He's expensive but we need dbs.
