Good point.Commander of Awesome;1738515 wrote:TT has no leverage. He's RFA, Cavs offering him the most. He signs a deal elsewhere Cavs match. Welcome back to Cleveland TT!
TT is getting a fair contract at 5 years $80M. Not sure what the problem is. -

I believe I saw amico mention derozan today.sportswizuhrd;1738521 wrote:So he will have a major decline the next 5 years? Don't know about all that.
Did you ever find a link for Windhorst dropping DeRozan's name? Mentioned it to a Raps fan and they thought it was the dumbest thing in the world.
TT hold up may be what the last year is, player or team option, or trade clauses. Probably not as much money as other things.

Only thing on Twitter about shumpert is his ridiculous new hairstyle. See nothing about him not signing that $40M deal. Link?j_crazy;1738654 wrote:Im hearing shumpert is balking at his deal now too. Wtf is going on?

SportsAndLadyI am hearing a lot about Thompson leaving the Cavs (nothing official just reports saying that it is definitely possible at this point). That's fucking crazy if true. Thought they struck a deal yesterday, what the hell happened?

I saw last night that it wasn't agreed on, after pretty much everyone said it was.SportsAndLady;1738658 wrote:I am hearing a lot about Thompson leaving the Cavs (nothing official just reports saying that it is definitely possible at this point). Maybe Dan Gilbert doesn't want that $100M tax fee? -
wildcats20Btw that is sarcasm, I'm sure DG doesn't give a flying fuck about the tax bill that will come.
The rumors said Draymond was waiting for TT to reach a deal to base his new deal on. Maybe TT then decided he wants more? -
j_crazyThe shumpert thing was on yahoo sports. I will try to find it.

He's RESTRICTED. He's going no where. I'm more sure of him being a Cav than LBJSportsAndLady;1738658 wrote:I am hearing a lot about Thompson leaving the Cavs (nothing official just reports saying that it is definitely possible at this point). That's what I figured. Just needs Gasol and Aldridge to sign then people can start wondering about him.Mulva;1738694 wrote:The spotlight. -
ZWICK 4 PREZLebron will be the last to sign like expected. He holds up his end of he deal when cleveland holds up the end of theirs.

sportswizuhrdNo one can officially sign until July 8th...
Teams have a ballpark figure of what the cap will be but during the first week of July, it's being figured out. LeBron is probably waiting until then to even negotiate. Why rush it when you can't do anything officially? -
SportsAndLady
Because Zomg he might sign somewhere else!!!!sportswizuhrd;1738700 wrote:No one can officially sign until July 8th...

Lovejoy1984Sounds like it's time for TT to test the market and see how much he's actually worth.

Agreed with this. Whether or not LeBron and Rich Paul want this, it needs to happen.HighRoller74;1738788 wrote:Sounds like it's time for TT to test the market and see how much he's actually worth. -
