2015-2016 Cleveland Cavaliers World Champions!

BR1986FBYeah, I'm not so sure the Cavs even want JR back.
-
Commander of AwesomeWouldn't be surprised to see Cavs go after:
Norris Cole from the Pelicans (he's a RFA, but maybe they want cap relief)
Prince
Caron Butler
Ariza
Mo Williams
JJ Barea -
Dr. KnOiTaLL
Don't want Cole, Prince is garbage anymore, Butler is old but I'd take him, Ariza we don't have a chance, Mo is supposedly courting Memphis, and Barea is all but signed I thought?Commander of Awesome;1738467 wrote:Wouldn't be surprised to see Cavs go after:

I heard there is a chance -
BR1986FBBut wait, Automatik said the Cavs were getting D-Wade?

Mo Williams is about the only player I'd want out of this group.Commander of Awesome;1738467 wrote:Wouldn't be surprised to see Cavs go after:

I also am apathetic about JR. If we get him great, if we don't, we'll be alright. -
Automatik
If you want to win a championship, that's the vital piece!BR1986FB;1738485 wrote:But wait, Automatik said the Cavs were getting D-Wade? -

I would take Ariza off the bench in a heart beat. Also, I want jr back. Can't hold his finals performance against him. He wasn't supposed to be our second scoring option.sleeper;1738486 wrote:Mo Williams is about the only player I'd want out of this group.

Again, apathetic towards JR. I like having him but I am okay with him going elsewhere. He's not a critical piece.like_that;1738489 wrote:I would take Ariza off the bench in a heart beat. I'd absolutely take Ariza. He'd be a GREAT fit. Good defender with length, can guard the wing and knocks down 3's.like_that;1738489 wrote:I would take Ariza off the bench in a heart beat. sleeperWhat's the hold up in the TT deal? I thought they agreed on length and dollars so what's the problem?

BR1986FB
My concern is that, yes...he's playing the "good soldier" but when is "bad" (attitude/cancer) JR going to rear it's ugly head? So far, it hasn't and I think LBJ can keep him in check but you never know.sleeper;1738490 wrote:Again, apathetic towards JR. I like having him but I am okay with him going elsewhere. It did rear its head when he was suspended for the first 2 games against the Bulls.BR1986FB;1738506 wrote:My concern is that, yes...he's playing the "good soldier" but when is "bad" (attitude/cancer) JR going to rear it's ugly head? Dr. KnOiTaLLI'm curious what the hold up is for Thompson, as well. Prior to free agency, it was reported that he wanted $13M a year. Then, the report of 5 years at $80M comes out ($16M a year). Curious what could be a sticking point.
-
Commander of AwesomeThere's a sticking point with TT? I haven't read this.

Dr. KnOiTaLL
Tristan Thompson and the Cavaliers have yet to come to an agreement on contract figures after reportedly coming close on Wednesday.Commander of Awesome;1738512 wrote:There's a sticking point with TT? I haven't read this.
Reports on Wednesday had Thompson close enough to inking a deal worth $80 million that Draymond Green and his representatives based Green's deal on those numbers, but it sounds like things have stalled. While the Cavs are still the favorite to land one of LeBron James' favorite teammates, we'll have to wait to see if the two sides can come to agreement before we officially consider the restricted free agent a Cavalier for the foreseeable future. -

I meant full on pouty bitch/curl up into the fetal position and sabotage the team mode.like_that;1738508 wrote:It did rear its head when he was suspended for the first 2 games against the Bulls. -
Commander of AwesomeTT has no leverage. He's RFA, Cavs offering him the most. He signs a deal elsewhere Cavs match. Welcome back to Cleveland TT!
-
Dr. KnOiTaLL
I wonder if he's wanting something north of Draymond's contract now. Seemed like it was smooth sailing until Green signed... Guess what, TT, you rebound and not much else. Green deserves more than you.Commander of Awesome;1738515 wrote:TT has no leverage. He's RFA, Cavs offering him the most. He signs a deal elsewhere Cavs match. Welcome back to Cleveland TT! -
Commander of AwesomeEh warriors will end up hating that contract.
-
Dr. KnOiTaLL
Agreed, I thought it was ridiculous. Glad the Warriors are strapped for that amount now, though.Commander of Awesome;1738517 wrote:Eh warriors will end up hating that contract. -
j_crazy
yeah. but the cavs don't need to hate TT's contract because of it.Commander of Awesome;1738517 wrote:Eh warriors will end up hating that contract. -

TT will always be able to rebound. Green wont always be a great shooter/athletic enough to continue to play 3/4.j_crazy;1738519 wrote:yeah. but the cavs don't need to hate TT's contract because of it. -

So he will have a major decline the next 5 years? Don't know about all that.Commander of Awesome;1738520 wrote:TT will always be able to rebound. Green wont always be a great shooter/athletic enough to continue to play 3/4.
Did you ever find a link for Windhorst dropping DeRozan's name? Mentioned it to a Raps fan and they thought it was the dumbest thing in the world.
