IliketurtlesWell another Marlins season I had high hopes for down the drain. I figured maybe they could make a push here soon and start winning some series once Jose gets back. They say he will be out 4-6 weeks but from what I've heard it will be probably be longer. Really was looking forward to him being in the HR derby again as well.

Terry_Tate
My thoughts as well. Was really looking forward to him in the home run derby.Ironman92;1737582 wrote:FUCK -

anyways on a good note I had a 5 day Fanfest pass given to me. I needed 2 more so I went to Ticket Network and found them for $1 each with only a 1 time $15 fed ex charge. I have 10 5 Day Fanfest passes for a total of $24 -
HereticIn news that will make Ironman happy, Pittsburgh DFA'd Jose Tabata.

HitsRusLatest results for the balloting for the AllStar Game to be be played at the Great American Ballpark, showed the Great Amercan Ballot stuff abating slightly.
Royals lead now at only 5 positions...down 2 spots from last week. Nelson Cruz has passed Kendrys Morales at DH and narrowly leads.....The Blue Jays Josh Donaldson has passed Mike Moustakis at 3B and opened up a good lead. The Royals still command 2/3 of the outfield, catcher, and the keystone positions. Jose Altuve has closed the gap slightly on weak hitting Omar Infante who has nearly double the votes of league leading hitter Jason Kipnis.
In a note to Reds fans...Third baseman Todd Frazier trails the Cards Matt Carpenter by only 100,000 votes. So, get out ther Reds fans....vote early, vote often! Kansas City fans are! -
Classyposter58They need to put an end to this once and for all and have writers vote on the game

Azubuike24Today is Bobby Bo's annual pay day. 1.2M.

thavoiceDid MLB put an end to these sort of deals? I know for awhile a few guys signed them, Griffey Junior included. Griffey gets paid until 2024 where he gets a big payment of 16.4 million
-
thavoiceJust can across this list of guys with contracts like this:

Have to laugh at taht Bruce Sutter one.
Sutter before the 1985 season. He was a bust of course, but this is how he was paid. From a 1985 Los Angeles Times report: [INDENT]Bruce Sutter was to receive payments totaling $44 million over the next 36 years from his new club, the Atlanta Braves . . . Sutter will receive a $750,000 salary for each of the next six years and a minimum of $1.12 million a year for the remaining 30 years of the contract. In addition, he will get the $9.1 million in so-called “rincipal” at the end.

Azubuike24It's gotta be a mighty nice feeling to know that deposit is coming every year.

HereticThe Almighty Detroit Tigers surrendered 21 hits (4 homers) and 9 runs last night to fall back to only one game over .500. Randall Simon gave up 15 hits in 5.2 innings, while Joba The Hutt surrendered three solo shots in one inning.
-
HereticAnother day, another win over Detroit. 3-0 this series; 4-2 on the year.
