Honestly though, it's a fluke that the Twins got anybody on base.Commander of Awesome;1720035 wrote:Detroit will only improve throughout this season too. I doubt they give up more than 2 runs or score less than 8 runs a game for the rest of the season. -

Anybody remember when classy dissed cleveland fans for this same type of behavior (numerous times)? No? Here, let me remind you. Dumbass classy the hypocrite POS.
Classyposter58;1266626 wrote:Cleveland fans IMO are f***ing horrible when it comes to violence. I mean Lions fans are a little rowdy, and sure there was the Melee at the Palace but man when you think of all the awful incidents in Cleveland...from 10 cent beer night to the battery game to Albert Belle crushing that heckler with a ball to and especially this one when Cleveland's last game before they moved the fans essentially destroyed the place and went nuts to the beer bottle game it's obvious that Browns fans are the worst. I've been to a Bengals game with a Steelers fan and a Lions game with a Packers fan and never had any problems like what I've heard out of ClevelandClassyposter58;1481057 wrote:Our fans are a reflection of that? Ha Browns Stadium on Sundays is trash city, it's like a giant county fair. But hey what can you expect out of a city that hasn't won a championship since the Beatles came to America -
Classyposter58Haha I must have really hurt your feels little_that

lhslep134I don't see any hurt feelz from like_that I see blatant hypocrisy
-
like_thatLol yeah me calling you out for being a hypocrite truly means my feelz are hurt. What do you have to say for your trashy Detroit fans? To be fair to those idiots, there was no evidence of somebody eating somebody's ass out this time like those lions fans.

I remember when he played for the Tribe. -
hasbeenHad a buddy ask me today at work why MLB gives off days so soon. For example, he's an Indians fan(I tried to save him, it didn't work) and they played game 1, day off, game 2.
I agree that that day off may be a little more useful next week or something. The Mariners played 3 straight and get their first off day today and they'll be traveling to Oakland. The Mariners set up makes sense. They played 3 at home. Day off. 3 in OAK, 3 in LA. Day Off. 3 in TEX, 3 in HOU. Day Off and then Minnesota.
Indians play game 1. Day off. 2 games and then travel home and play 3 more with no days off. day off. 2 vs. CHW. day off. 2 att Minnesota.
Just seems weird how they time the early ones for some teams. -

Could be because with it being opening day, all the festivities, all the hoopla, some towns want that second day off to push back the opener, and the fans who bought opening day tickets, still get to go to opening day.hasbeen;1720301 wrote:Had a buddy ask me today at work why MLB gives off days so soon. I know for Cincy it is such a huge, huge deal to get the tickets I think they just want to ensure those who plan to attend get to.
Cincy has done a nice job with opening night as well for their second game.
Also just the weather in general for makeup games early on. -

Pretty sure it's built in for unpredictable April weather.hasbeen;1720301 wrote:Had a buddy ask me today at work why MLB gives off days so soon. For example, he's an Indians fan(I tried to save him, it didn't work) and they played game 1, day off, game 2.

Okay, but if that's the case it's done very well. Game 1 is played. Day off is beautiful. Game 2 is played. Game 3 is rained out. The off day should be after. Whatever. I couldn't imagine scheduling all of that.Laley23;1720306 wrote:Pretty sure it's built in for unpredictable April weather. -

I don't often give Wedge a lot of credit, but the guy was a cancer, and Wedge and the Indians did well to get rid of him. Funny to hear LA GM DePodesta talk about the trade...(sic)'we knew what we were getting when we traded for him, I'd trade for 9 more guys just like him.' SMH. Delusional.Commander of Awesome;1720299 wrote:Pretty sad read: http://www.si.com/mlb/2015/04/08/milton-bradley-domestic-abuse-mlb-monique-bradley

Yeah, Bradley had the sort of talent that made every team want him...and the sort of personality that made every team want to get the hell rid of him about as soon as they acquired him. Which is why he played for virtually everyone during his career, it seemed.HitsRus;1720315 wrote:I don't often give Wedge a lot of credit, but the guy was a cancer, and Wedge and the Indians did well to get rid of him. Maybe covered in posts since this. But most teams do it this way in case of weather for Opening Day only. If opening day is rained out or whatever, they want the ability to still do everything the next day.hasbeen;1720310 wrote:Okay, but if that's the case it's done very well. Game 1 is played.
