wes_mantoothJim Brown is a piece of shit so I don't care what he says. He is a woman beater and a racist...he can fuck off.

BR1986FBSooooo.....Josh Gordon is hosting some "after party" event after the Browns game next Thursday at some local night club. Make smart decisions, young man.....

This post is a total freaking joke. I better not have to explain whyBR1986FB;1508294 wrote:Sooooo.....Josh Gordon is hosting some "after party" event after the Browns game next Thursday at some local night club. Make smart decisions, young man..... -

Please DO explain why. He shouldn't be putting himself in these situations. Whether he does something, or not, he's still opening himself up to a lot of scrutiny.lhslep134;1508299 wrote:This post is a total freaking joke. I better not have to explain why -

Meh, I have to disagree here. He has a history of being a dumb fuck and getting into shit he shouldn't be. I am not saying he shouldn't live his life, but he def should be a lot smarter about his recreational time and who he surrounds himself with. Nothing wrong with BR saying "make smart decisions." He better fucking make smart decisions at that party, or we all will be talking about how we wish we traded him.lhslep134;1508299 wrote:This post is a total freaking joke. like_thatIn addition to what I just said, it's case by case with a player. Josh Gordon has a history of being a dumb fuck. Let's say someone like Tj Ward hosts this party (I am Ward, because he is black, and no one can call me out for using a white guy). No one is going to be concerned about it because he doesn't have a history of getting himself into shit he shouldn't be in.
-
SportsAndLadyLet's hope josh Gordon doesn't drive a car either. God forbid he put himself in a position to drive over the speed limit.
-
BR1986FB
Exactly. I don't care if this is Joe Haden, Phil Taylor, Ward, Billy Winn, etc hosting this but Gordon, on the other hand, has a history of immature dumbfuckery and doesn't need to expose himself to "situations." Now one would think he'd be smart enough not to do anything considering a slip up could end his career but it's Josh Gordon we're talking about. Not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to sound decisions.like_that;1508308 wrote:In addition to what I just said, it's case by case with a player. Now THIS guy gets it! Dumbass post...until the league starts suspending players for speeding tickets, the comparison can't be made.SportsAndLady;1508311 wrote:Let's hope josh Gordon doesn't drive a car either. God forbid he put himself in a position to drive over the speed limit. -

Well the comparison went way over your head I see. Point I'm making, is you can't expect Gordon not to live his life because he's one strike away. You can't say 'don't go to clubs' because there's a chance he may get in trouble. Just like you wouldn't tell someone not to drive because they are one speeding ticket away from a suspended license.BR1986FB;1508316 wrote:Now THIS guy gets it! The comparison didn't go over my head. I got it the first time before you tried to explain it. The comparison is invalid. Josh Gordon isn't one speeding ticket away from a year long, and possibly career ending, suspension for speeding tickets. He is for a failed drug test.SportsAndLady;1508350 wrote:Well the comparison went way over your head I see. You don't tell somebody not to host a party at a bar because he's one purple drank away from a year long suspension. -
BR1986FB
You do if you value him and want to keep him long term. Ask Dez Bryant....SportsAndLady;1508365 wrote:And you're still not fucking getting it.

BR1986FBMaybe Gordon is TRYING to get traded? Who knows...just comes across as a stupid move when you're in the crosshairs of this new regime.

He should be smart enough to not do it to begin with, he shouldn't have to be told. Being one strike away, he just needs to not put himself in any situation that could turn out bad for him to begin with.SportsAndLady;1508365 wrote:And you're still not fucking getting it.

If I know drugs have caused me problems in the past, I sure as hell am not going to host a party where drugs could potentially show up. He has to be smarter than that. -

Very well said. RepsGoChiefs;1508398 wrote:He should be smart enough to not do it to begin with, he shouldn't have to be told. Being one strike away, he just needs to not put himself in any situation that could turn out bad for him to begin with.

I can see that point. I just don't agree with telling him not to throw a party. If he fucks up and does some drugs, he doesn't deserve a spot on the browns. But don't position him like he's 12 years old.GoChiefs;1508398 wrote:He should be smart enough to not do it to begin with, he shouldn't have to be told. se-alumIs Gordon just having a party or is it something sanctioned by the Browns in which other members of the organization will be there?

Or park his car where he should not and get it towed away.SportsAndLady;1508311 wrote:Let's hope josh Gordon doesn't drive a car either. God forbid he put himself in a position to drive over the speed limit. -

Do you guys not get how those things work?? It's just some promoter who knows Josh or someone in his entourage who OK'd using Josh to promote the event and he'll probably make an appearance or stay for a while but it's not going to be any different than any other time he goes out to a club.BR1986FB;1508300 wrote:Please DO explain why. So you bashing him is basically saying he shouldn't be going to any club, any time. To that, I say you're absurd. -
SportsAndLady
That's exactly what they're saying. Apparently we should hire a babysitter for Josh, too. To watch him and make sure to put him in timeout if he drinks some purple drank.lhslep134;1508507 wrote:So you bashing him is basically saying he shouldn't be going to any club, any time.
