Didn't expect them to look this good, however I will still take a first rounder from them.

Defintely. That extra first rounder will be huge.

    1. They would be stupid to trade Gordon.
    2. If they do, they better get AT LEAST a #1, if not more.
    3. If they don't get that much, I will be done. I was 'ok' with the TRich trade, but you don't trade a star caliber WR in a passing league. The man has made freaking Hoyer and Weeden look good.

Browns are not trading Gordon. Let's move along from that bullshit for good now.

The time to trade Gordon was at 0-2 and after the Richardson trade. At 3-2, in 1st place, there is no way. Even if they lose the next few, they will still be right there by the time the deadline passes.

Not to mention he is a piece to build on. I don't think the Browns ever had any intention of trading him.

    I dont either really.

Just saying, IF they had, the window is passed.

Time will still tell, but I still like the trade. I like the fact that banner knows RBs are dime a dozen. Article sheds some solid light on Banner.

I don't get how anyone could have disliked the trade. I said it as soon as it went down... completely stunned that someone was dumb enough to give up a 1st round pick for a glorified goal line back.

Yup yup. I'm still fighting with my brother. I love the trade. Him not so much. Hopefully weeden learned something sitting on the bench the last three weeks. I.E. Getting the ball out quicker and such

I don't think we're going to see much of a change in Weeden (getting rid of the ball quicker). It just seems to be his nature. It would be nice if he could see the WHOLE field though but I'm not holding my breath.

Richardson's stats in Cleveland and in Indy. I liked the deal then, and I like the deal now.

Im also not expecting any changes from Weeden. I don't think its even possible for him to put together 3 scoring drives in a game. If CJ is able to play next week im not liking our chances much.

If they have to throw more than 30x's with Weeden, we're screwed. Need at least a 50/50 balance of run to pass to have a chance.

They kept it pretty balanced with weeden last week, so hopefully more of the same.

I don't see them getting a lot on the ground against Detroit but they still have to pound it to keep them honest.

If they give us 3 first and a second, I'll accept it

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m Browns-49ers have discussed trade for WR Josh Gordon. Deal unlikely with Mario Manningham coming off PUP, Crabtree slated to return in Nov.

Of course then this comes out.
  • SportsAndLady
We're not trading Gordon, I'm not too worried about these rumors.
