Highly doubt this happens, and I really don't want it to. I'd hate to have to root for him again if the Browns did well, but it would more likely be me cussing at the TV screen as he adds to the league leading drop passes total for the Browns. He and Little can break records.

I didn't interpret it that way, but if Holmgren were to be canned, I honestly wouldn't care. Just as long as Heckert stays.

If that effin puke thought he had problems with fans before he left, he ain't seen shit 'till he comes back and drops game winners after what he said when he left.

The Browns cannot pick lower than No. 4 if they lose. If Minnesota defeats Chicago, and the Browns lose, Cleveland will pick No. 3.

I'm just gonna throw in a few general thoughts here...

As it stands, RG3 has a decent arm. It's not his best attribute, but he can throw downfield. At the moment, RG3 barely even uses his lower body, either. Once he is coached up and he uses his lower body more, he might end up with a rocket. He also throws a tight spiral and has a fantastic deep ball, so I'm not worried about the wind at all.

Justin Blackmon will be there when the Browns pick. St. Louis is probably going to pick second, and Matt Kalil will be the BPA. It just so happens that the Rams desperately need help along the offensive line.

The Vikings have needs at cornerback and wideout, but Claiborne is much better than Blackmon.

But when/if Blackmon falls to the Browns, I will not want him. All elite wide receivers have a few traits in common. They are either:

1. Big. At least 6'3" with hands and athletic ability.
2. Incredibly quick. Steve Smith is only 5'9", but he is shifty and fast as hell.

Justin Blackmon is neither of those. He's 6'1" 215, so he has some bulk, but he doesn't have the height/speed combination to be much of a deep threat. He has occasionally great hands (has some issues with drops on the perimeter) and is an excellent route runner. He has good YAC ability and can make a few guys miss. In essence, he is Anquan Boldin.

The Browns already have an underneath, WCO weapon in Greg Little. Little isn't really a deep threat, but he's starting to catch the ball like he did in college, and he is incredible with the ball in his hands. Right now, the Browns need speed and vertical ability. Blackmon provides neither of those, and he lacks the physical ability to develop into an elite player.

Andrew Luck/RG3 with the first pick
Kendal wright with the 2nd

knocks out two great needs, and provides our vertical threat

If the Browns somehow drafted Luck, we wouldn't be seeing the other first round pick.

Yes I know..I put us drafting luck at about a 5% chance. Not even for the fact that we have draft picks to use, it's just no way in hell browns get a pick like Luck. Just not lucky enough..

RG3 and kendal wright would be an interesting first round..

[h=1]FORMER 'SNL' WRITERDies in Suspected Suicide[/h]Former "Saturday Night Live" staff writer Joe Bodolai -- who co-wrote the first draft of the movie "Wayne's World" -- has died ... and cops believe the death was a suicide.

TMZ has learned ... Bodolai's body was discovered yesterday by a cleaning crew at an L.A. hotel.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Bodolai -- who also co-wrote several "Wayne's World" sketches for SNL (below) -- had been staying at the hotel
for more than a week.

We're told cops recovered a bottle of antifreeze and Gatorade in the hotel room ... and it's likely his death was due to consumption of the toxic chemical.

Bodolai had posted what appears to be a suicide note on his blog on December 23 titled, "If This Was Your Last Day Alive What Would You Do?"

In the note, Bodolai writes about "Stuff I Would Like to Have Seen In My Life" -- including the Browns winning the Super Bowl and the "truth" about the JFK murder.

He also lists "Things I Regret" ... which begins with, "My inability to conquer my alcoholism" followed by, "The things I did because of it."

Bodolai also lists, "Things I Am Proud Of" -- listing family members, his time as an "SNL" staff writer and "writing the first draft of Wayne’s World with Mike Myers."

Bodolai concludes, "May you all have the happy lives you deserve. Thank you all for being in my life."

He was 63.

So the Browns drove him to suicide? I just wanted to be the first to say it.

If the Browns decide to go defense with that second pick, what are the thoughts on Whitney Mercilus DE to pair with Sheard? I want no part of the Coples kid from UNC.

Not a huge fan of RG3. Just doubt his height and his ability to hold up in the NFL. Seems like he'll be on the injury list every week.

drew brees tells you to fuck off concerning the height...

You're arguing with an exception. Colt McCoy tells you to fuck off.

Can't say I'd have an issue with this if they were going all offense early on. Pick those two this the first two picks, grab the Adams kid (OSU) with the high 2nd rounder to play RT and maybe come back and grab a change of pace RB (James-Oregon?) with the high 3rd. All contingent on re-signing Hillis.

If I were going defense I'd probably grab Claiborne at 1a, Mercilus 1b and an OLB (hope Burfict slides?) with the high 2nd.

as BR would say, NOODLE ARM...height is a misguided "must have".if you have a cannon, and can move around the pocket, you will be fine..

who would you want with that first pick then? Lets say we are picking 3rd..luck and kalil have gone first two picks.
• BR1986FB
Guess we'll have to see where RG3 measures at the Combine. If he's a "true" 6'2" he should be fine but if he's closer to the 6' I've heard, that could be an issue.

Browns would be a in a good position for another trade rape if that were to happen. Gotta hear those offers.
• DeyDurkie5
No trades are allowed in this scenario..just a hypothetical situation..seeing as ging thinks blackmon and rg3 aren't good picks, im curious as to who he would take

That's fine, we disagree. I'm just not a believer in RG3.

We're picking 3rd and Luck is gone I'd want to trade the pick since Barkley is gone. If we can't trade the pick I'd lean towards Claiborne, or Melvin Ingram or another great pass rusher/RDE. I love DeCastro but even I know this is too high for him to go. As I stated earlier, I'm not huge on Blackmon either, Barkley staying really screwed the Browns. I really hope we can trade rape a team again that falls in love with RG3.

For me, it depends what the team does in FA, and what direction they plan on going with the draft (offense or defense). Honestly with 1a, I don't think they can go wrong as long as they don't draft Richardson.

interesting...don't agree with it at all...blackmon is going to be a stud imo..with no trades and at that spot, you get him.

I also wouldn't be surprised at all if a team leap frogged us and traded with the Rams for RG3, we might not even get the chance to pick him.
