Johnny Manziel 2013-14 Thread
-
Fly4FunI figure with the media attention he gets he could have his own thread for the season.
He recently had to leave the Manning Passing Academy as he was missing meetings and practices, or when he did show up he was showing up late. He naturally came up with the excuse that he was sick so both sides agreed it was best if he just left.

After just reading that article it honestly sounds like he was probably just hung over and missing meetings because of that. But then I decided to quickly look through the comments and see if there was any insight in that cesspool of discussion and came across an article that seems to correlate with a theory of him just being a drunk and hungover during practices/meetings.

I know how college is and that college kids tend to drink. But there is also a time and place for everything. And it seems like life is just one big party for this kid ever since he's won the Heisman. -
TiernanI will send a brand new I-pad to whatever Johnny Manzier opponent that can break his leg, arm, spleen...etc.
-
Pick6He seems like a spoild brat. I predict his season will be a let down. He thinks he's bigger than what he's apart of.
-
SportsAndLadyOh no he likes to drink!!
-
ironman02I saw some tweets from Chris Mortenson eariler today that made it seem like Manziel wasn't fulfilling his duties at the camp prior to leaving. I did a little more looking around and saw an article that basically accused him of being hung over or late for everything, but a statement was later issued with quotes from the Mannings about how he was welcome to come back next year and just hadn't been feeling well. Personally, I think the Mannings just took the high road and didn't call him out for his antics.
I enjoyed watching him play last season, but ever since he won the Heisman, he has been a massive douche. He probably was before that, but now he's not afriad to show it. Seems like he spends more time in the news than some of the drama-crazed Hollywood celebrities. -

He can drink all he wants, but you'd think he would also be respectful and do his job when the Mannings were nice enough to invite him to the camp.SportsAndLady;1472570 wrote:Oh no he likes to drink!! -
Fly4FunPaul Manziel, Johnny's dad, says that little Johnny was just "dehydrated," which is code word for what everyone else calls a hangover.

Pick6Something I havent seen anybody point out, is that he is underage. There was a pic of Eli, Peyton, McCarron, and Manziel all out at a bar that night. Not sure drinking/supplying to a minor is a good look.
-
vball10setI said last year that the Heisman Foundation would be embarrassed sooner that later. The kid caught lightning in a bottle last season, and I'll bet he won't even be invited back to NYC (as a candidate) this year. Mark it down.

lhslep134Great idea for a thread, srsly

goosebumpsPer Twitter... great source I know, he was out on the Town in College Station Saturday night after being kicked out of the camp earlier in the day. If he wasn't feeling well why would he be out again the next night. Hair of the Dog I guess.

Classyposter58Used to think he was pretty awesome, now it's obvious he thinks he's incredible and is totally full of himself. Can easily see him wasting away his talent, and watching that Alabama game last year he is far and away the best player in College today

TiernanBraxton Miller will make this drunk TX hill jack yesterday's fish wrap.

Fly4FunManziel pleaded guilty to a charge that he failed to identify himself to a police officer last summer. He tried to pass off a fake ID. Small fine and court costs and this incident is now behind him as well.

Dan GilbertHe will find a way to ruin his career.

Classyposter58Shoved a GA too in March. Kid is a brat, I understand partying but don't be taking stupid pics and posting them. I don't do this and I have like a hundred followers. Also heard he is only taking online classes to avoid disttractions of other students? Dude thinks he's bigger than Texas A&M
