I dont ever watch Wheel of Fortune. But, thats retarded. You dont get to win the money youve accumulated from the game just by winning? What do you get out of winning then?

You get the money you accumulate if you win each round. So if you solve the puzzle you get that money you have built up. The other players don't get theirs.

They have the million wedge, you get the wedge to take to the bonus round if you make it. They then put in a million dollar card in the bonus round wheel. You land on it, solve the bonus puzzle, you win a million.

If the other 2 people haven't won a puzzle or a toss up puzzle, they walk away with like a grand or 2 just for being on the show.

Iowa and Nebraska are the worst schools in the B1G.

Is McGary still deciding, or is he for sure staying?

    Still deciding.

A year long ban for marijuana? GTFO
  • Midstate01
Gotta imagine that wasn't his first run in with the ncaa then.

Yes it was. This is just how ridiculous the NCAA is.
  • vball10set
lol, he only tried in one time and just happened to get randomly tested after it, and then gets suspended for a year? riiiiight
  • Midstate01
Bet Brady Hoke knew this whole time.

I'm sure it was more than once, lol. But suspended for a year? Noah Spence tested for ecstasy and got 3 games. A year for weed is insane really.

Not sure what you mean? First time he smoked....duh, no. But run in with NCAA yes. The minimum suspension for failing a drug test is 1 year.

Noah Spence was able to prove that it was possible he didn't take it knowingly.

Also the NCAA didn't suspend Spence, the B1G did.

Right, and the NCAA penalty for weed is harsh. Why would the NCAA not enforce a rule when a team or league had results in hand?

Anyway, it's his fault anyway. He knew the rule, and he did it anyway. Probably never thought he'd get picked since he wasn't even playing.
  • wildcats20
I'm not saying the penalty wasn't harsh, it has since been dropped to half a season; but the comparison is not accurate.

The NCAA didn't test Spence. They tested McGary.
  • wildcats20
Spence more than likely would have been suspended an entire season had it been the NCAA who tested him. I can't seem to find the penalty for performance enhancing drugs, since that is what he technically tested positive for.

Yes, I know. But how in the world does a kid test negative and not face any NCAA penalties, when it clearly violates their rule.

Also, what is worse? Smoking a joint at a party, or driving while drunk. The latter gets 1-3 games tops from the team, and nothing from the NCAA.

    Who tested negative?

Did Spence not test negative for a drug?

He was never tested by the NCAA.
  • wildcats20
The only thing that was "negative" was his family saying Noah never took a PED.
