Recruiting is just sales. I'm in sales. I don't say creepy things to people to produce numbers/products. Lol come on laley
    Suuuuure you havent!!

I am not even entirely certain that was doctored in those tweets, but it doesnt matter. IU still pissed one down their leg in a fashion I havent seen in basketball in a long, long, long time.

Every coach is a stretch. But off the top of my head I know of Matt Painter, Steve Alford, Steve Fisher and Ben Howland. All of them have sent tweets that sounded like they were wooing some mistress. I can't find the links fucking anywhere, but I remember these posted on and IU site I'm on.

The B1G just isn't any good this year in hoops. I'm not even sure UM or MSU is really that great either.

Earlier this season I said it was parity, but now I'm leaning towards this.

I'm getting to be inclined to agree. It'd be one thing if there were, say, 7-8 teams beating each other up with the remainder being patsies. But so far, other than Illinois (who looked good for much of the early-season and were ranked for a week), it seems like any team can win at any time (particularly if they're at home). Teams that looked really bad in the pre-conference season like Nebraska and Northwestern are in the middle of the pack ahead of Purdue and Indiana.

With that said, I think that if Michigan State would ever actually get healthy, they're a really good team. And I think the conference will do decent in the postseason. They're getting passed in the rankings left and right by teams playing weaker schedules. I think if they get to go against some of those teams as a 7/10 going against a 2 or a 6/11 going against a 3, they'll do good in those situations.

I guess we will find out come tournament time but I don't see more than 1 or 2 B1G teams in the Sweet 16.

    I agree.

OSU will need a favorable matchup, but they could be a 3rd. I see Iowa and Sparty as legit Sweet 16 teams.

I said I thought the B1G was overrated earlier this season and got hammered for it. But I still believe it. Just no great team. Msu should be but they have 9 million injuries and even healthy haven't been THAT good.

    Michigan going down at home

I was watching Stauskas during the second half, and even though he can shoot, he doesn't play any defense at all. When he's not getting his shots, he's almost a liability out there. Picktown's LeVert is the one that impresses me--his game has improved immensely.

Msu down 6 with 8 to go, at home vs nebraska

The B1G's loaded with 'em this year, and because of it the conference will be back on top in a year or two.

They've struggled on the road, but Nebraska is a tough team. Not really surprised that the Huskers were in this game today (somewhat surprised they finished the deal). That said, Michigan State is just not as good as the hype would've had you believe early in the year. Yes, CBF, I know injuries have plagued them, but even when at full or near-full strength, the Spartans have struggled to beat average teams, especially at home.

I am not ready to toss MSU to the curb. The Spartans have been less than impressive the last 2 months, but they have also won @Iowa and lost @Wisky on a last second shot. during that time. Payne and Appling played yesterday, but neither is in game condition, especially Appling. I'm assuming that Dawson will return in the next couple of weeks and be game ready by the time the NCAA tournament starts.

The loss at home to Nebraska was surprising, but not a shock. Terran Petteway is an under-appreciated player. He is a nightmare match-up because of his length and athleticism. He can make a case for being the B1G 10 POY.

Nebraska's schedule the rest of the way is very favorable. They have a good chance to play their way into the tournament.

You def follow recruiting more than I do and would know....still sounds very creepy though!

The throwback years....saw IU and Iowa from like 2000 in the classic this AM when Alford came back to IU I think for the first time. Guyton, Haston and the boys. Always thought Haston was dumb for leaving early, but I digress.

I knew IU would take steps backwards this season, how could they not but it has been very disappointing. The saving grace though I guess is that they have shown at times they can play great so maybe it is just a matter of each player coming out and putting out consistantly.

Saw teh vido on CNN this morning of the piece falling and what cancelled the game. Coulda been disaster.
