Fantasy Football 2014-15

I'm up 46 with desean jackson tonight and my opponent has Russ Wilson and Percy harvin.

This would be over if gostkowski didn't drop 22 on me last night. Fuck

In a similar boat. Up 47 going into tonight. I'm done, and he has Beast Mode and Morris.

I'm concerned about Beast Mode putting up 20-25 points, but I doubt Morris does what he'd need to do (about 100 yards and 2 TDs). The Seattle D is too good, and Morris is hardly a receiving threat.

If you can get Andre Williams on ny I would highly recommend. He was upgraded to an rb1 on most fantasy sites.

Looks like Jennings will be out for two weeks and Williams will have great matchups in those two weeks.
  • Laley23
I would also look at Ronnie Hillman, since Monte Balls probably out for an extended time.

Desean has played great tonight thankfully for the both of us! I can't believe Calvin Johnson is the guy killing my team though, just sucks

I've gotten so incredibly lucky tonight playing against Wilson and harvin lol

    3 tds called back.

Unreal. Any one of the 3 plays stand and its a victory. One of the grossest things I have ever seen and that includes the stat correction that took me from a .95 point victory to a .05 loss in Week 2 of this year. Same league. Should legitimately be 3-2. Instead, 1-4.

Especially since that personal foul call was bullshit. At least the other 2 were legit calls.

But, my God! How can you block someone "unnecessarily"?!?!?!? What the fuck does that even mean? As if the guy cant stand up and make a play. Just a ridiculous call.

The other two were legit calls. It certainly was a hold but I don't think that guy was going to catch Percy regardless. Either way...my love/hate relationship with fantasy football continues to swing heavy in the hate department.

I thought they were magnificent calls. But I also was playing against harvin and Russell :)

I just looked at my standard league scoring. I am getting anally raped, no other explaination.

0-5, with the 4th most points scored at 451. I have had FIVE-HUNDRED-EIGHTY-ONE points scored against me. 581!!!!! That is asinine in a standard league (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, FLEX, TE, DEF, K)

The next highest amount is 465 scored against. I have never seen such a dramatic difference. No wonder I go into every week liking my team and then getting pissed when I lose by 20. 116 more points scored against me than the next closest...in only 5 weeks.

    FUCK FANTASY FOOTBALL!!!

I need 1 WR this week of these 4.

    Keenan Allen @OAK
    Michael Floyd vWAS
    DeAndre Hopkins vIND
    Kendall Wright vJAC

Please give me your first and second choice. I will start the first and the second will be my sub come Sunday if someone doesn't play.

Oh, Floyd will only be considered if Palmer plays.

I Feel you, I am currently the 2nd highest scoring team and I am 2-3. I have by far the most points scored against me so far.

I only take solace in the fact that our league values total points scored in a season more than the league championship. More money is paid out to whoever scores the most or 2nd most points than to the playoff champion.

    Allen, and Wright.

Whether PPR or not, I'd go with Hopkins and Wright, in that order. They're the ones getting TDs. They're both averaging about 5 catches a game (along with Allen). Wright gets the same looks as Allen, catches the same number of passes (is more consistent, as Allen's catch numbers inflate with his 10-catch effort a week ago), has gotten about 45 fewer yards, but he gets the paydirt.

In a PPR league, I'd rank the four players this way:

Hopkins, Wright, Allen, Floyd (even with Palmer)

In a standard league, I'd rank them this way:

    Hopkins, Wright, Floyd, Allen

Wright isn't known for TDs. Kind of flukey. I wouldn't expect it to continue and I have him.

I am in a tough spot. I have 3 WRs that are about the same guy right now.

    I can start 2.

    Patterson- We get return yards.
    Wright
Randle- 30 targets last 3 weeks. 37 last 4. I don't know how I can keep him out of the lineup.

I am leaning Randle and Patterson. Don't want to overreact to Patterson's poor game and am bracing for Wright to follow up his huge game with a clunker.

I have Wright in one of my leagues and he has done pretty decent. We have a flex spot or I wouldn't take a chance on starting him over my other receivers though.

He's not known for them, but they seem to be going his way for some reason. Based on the season thus far, I'd still view him as having higher TD potential than Floyd or Allen. Until the QB situation gets sorted out in Arizona, Floyd has high upside, but man, can he lay an egg, too. (I have him in two leagues ... it's killing me some weeks)

I'd go Randle and Patterson as well. Randle has been the primary recipient from Manning sharing the wealth, probably to the dismay of Cruz owners. However, I would expect Beckham to cut into those as well. He looked GOOD this last week in his "ease in" game.

Randle is available in my league. Worth a pickup for T. West or Malcolm Floyd?

    Drop Floyd for sure.

    This.

Pittsburgh or Carolina defense. Right now I have Pittsburgh going.

My once deep/good WRs now are looking in shambles.

AJ Green is likely out with turf toe.
    D. Hopkins plays the #2 team against WRs in Indy
    K. Wright has had exactly 1 good game
    K. Allen has been a huge disappointment (1 good game)
    M. Floyd was great when Palmer played, has been non-existent since.

I have to play 2 of these guys this week...
  • CCRolly
Better Flex in PPR League? Ronnie Hillman @ Jets, Darren Sproles vs. NYG, DeSean Jackson @ Arizona, or Roddy White vs. Bears.
  • Laley23
I would always go with a Peyton Manning RB.
